It was the cheapest dryer I could find. The dryer is great but the alarm that goes off to alert you that your load is finished is SO loud, it’s almost not worth the price. And my dryer is located in my detached garage , not even near my house! I am going to need to locate the wire that connects to that buzzer so I can cut it.

The buzzer on this is loud enough to wake the dead! Otherwise it's adequate. Doesn't always dry completely on automatic setting so have to reset to finish drying.

This is a good dryer for the price. The optimum dry setting works well. Does have a loud sound when dryer is done and I am not sure how to turn that option off.

Purchased for my tenants but they are very happy with this dryer and said it works very well. They are rather picky so if they’re happy, it must be good!

I like the standard not too many choices on the dryer. I like it better than the one I bought with a sensor that would leave the clothes wet...this dryer does not do that ! It works great

Good for the price and gets the job done however its very loud. You cannot turn off the busser and it goes off 4 times with every load until you manually just shut the whole dryer off.

If you're looking for a basic, no frills dryer, this is for you! If you're looking for a quiet, fast/efficient dryer, keep looking! Pros - big capacity, holds lots of clothes Cons - 1) doesn't dry big loads in one round, even using the "dry more" setting. I usually set it for the 80 minute dry cycle then have to set it to "dry more" for another drying cycle 2) the timer buzzer is LOUD and it goes off twice

The only complaint I would have with this washer is how the door closes. It seems that there could be a better way to use to latch the door.

Works well and has a relatively slim profile. Not very noisy and has minimal controls (no frills). I hope this adds to the longevity. There is a very loud and annoying buzzer that goes off twice towards the end. At the very least it should be something one can turn off. The shape of the front leading up to the dials is curved very poorly from an aesthetic perspective. This can be just angular as in the older models. The price seems at least a 100 dollars more than expected.

Washer and dryer curbside pickup. Quick. Efficient and friendly.

This dryer is perfect for our family of 4. It is used almost daily, sometimes 2-3 loads a day. It dries quick and as long as you take clothes out right away they are not wrinkled.

Purchased it for a flip home to match the washer that was a brand new GE and it will be an added value selling my first flip! I also bout numerous other kitchen appliances. GE is a great product!
