The warranty company they referred me to has been a nightmare. They did not show up for a confirmed appt. I missed a day of work for nothing. No phone call, text or email from the company. When I call to get info, I got hung up on twice, then two hours after our scheduled appt, i received a text from the warranty company requesting that I call to set up an appt for service. I tried to call immediately and left two messages, still have no callback and no working dryer. Defective product - Nightmare Warranty Service.

The other thing is it sounds like a bearing is out, been doing it since about a month after I bought it. As soon as it starts it makes a horrible noise and after 5 min it quits.

They need to drop their 3rd party delivery guys. My ring caught them with no uniform no masks and had several smashed dryer vent pipes during the process. Sorry bestbuy y’all had this review coming :(

The first one made a thumping noise so I returned it in the first few weeks. Then with the replacement, the drum went bad in the first year, so it was covered under GE warranty. Now something is wrong with the start button or maybe the timer. If it's been sitting awhile it starts, but if we open the door and try to continue drying it won't start again. I'm on my own because it's been over a year and I didn't buy geek squad. My last washer dryer set was 20 years old so I thought I would never use a 5 years warranty. I guess I was wrong and things aren't made like they used to be. Now I need to decide if it's worth it to fix, or just invest in a better dryer and get the warranty.
