This dryer is great. It has a lot of settings, but its not too confusing. I love the refresh button!

I've had this a couple of weeks and I would caution people to be careful opening it. I accidentally grabbed just the door cover and it broke off. Luckily I was able to get it to snap back on and I'm hoping it holds. Otherwise, happy with it. I haven't tried to hook it to wi-fi yet.

Great dryer. The smart link with matching washing machine and steam cycle are game changers.

It's a nice dryer. I need to see if i can unkink the vent duct so it will dry better. Then i might update this review. I haven't tried all the bells and whistles yet.

I purchased the GE dryer (model GFD85ESPNRS) from Best Buy with high expectations, but unfortunately, my experience has been nothing short of frustrating and exhausting. The problems started not long after installation—well before any issues developed with the matching washer. The display panel on the dryer began malfunctioning early on. It would freeze, not respond properly, and eventually had to be replaced. I contacted Geek Squad, and while they did send someone out to replace the panel, the issues didn’t end there. For months now, I’ve been getting a recurring error code 29. I’ve called Geek Squad multiple times and had several service visits. Each time, the technician says everything is “normal” or “working as expected,” but nothing has been resolved. The error continues to appear, and the dryer clearly isn’t functioning the way it should. It’s confusing, stressful, and deeply disappointing. What’s worse is that I’ve asked for a replacement and was told it’s not an option—even though this is an ongoing issue that has never been fixed. I feel completely stuck with a product that doesn’t work properly and no clear path forward. I’ve tried to do everything right: contacted support, followed instructions, scheduled service. And still, nothing is solved. At this point, I feel trapped. No one is taking accountability, and I don’t feel supported at all. This has taken up so much of my time and energy, and yet I’m still left with a dryer that gives me constant problems and no peace of mind. I’m incredibly unhappy and unsatisfied. I trusted Best Buy and Geek Squad to stand behind the products they sell and support their customers—but that trust has been broken. I would not recommend this model, and sadly, I no longer feel confident recommending Best Buy either.

Beautiful washer and dryer set. We have only done one wash but the closthes came out smelling so clean.

Great product! Great Price! Very Energy Efficient! Great Color! Has Big Drum to do all my laundry, especially my husband's heavy jeans and our bedding! Highly Recommend the upgrade!

Dries perfect every time. Only complaint I have is that the tune it plays when complete is not very loud.

We love our new GE washer & dryer. The machines can handle all different types of laundry (materials, care instructions, etc) and the notifications via the app make site that we know when to shift laundry.

We had such a hard time cleaning all the linen residuals for the previous dryer, this dryer came with a filter with the complete closure which can be clipped to open and close so that all the linens get caught within.

We haven’t had any issues with this dryer. It senses when it should stop drying the clothes. We also haven’t had issues with it shrinking anything (yet!). I love the steam feature. We don’t have to iron anymore!

dries remarkably well on moisture sensing. very comparable to my old maytag. not wild about the lint trap-kind of chintzy and ineffective. there is a learning curve tho

1 month, so far so good. Happy Dry time is good and seems like much better air flow. Dries quicker than old Whirlpool

Dries the clothes very good in a way that makes sense. Almost makes me wanna buy another one for my friend who owns a laundromat department and chicken business!
