It’s a bit embarrassing when company is here.

Posted .Hello- We are happy to hear your washer is working well and cleaning your clothes. However, we are sorry you're having this experience with your being extra loud. It may be getting out of balance. All GE Appliances washer tubs move freely within our exclusive auto balance suspension system. It is a rod and spring floating suspension, designed to withstand extensive out of balance situations without the need for an "out of balance" switch. During an out of balance load, the basket is allowed to "float" forward and backward, side to side, and up and down, yet it never touches the floor nor is it even connected to the floor. As a result, the clothes basket can move freely, and this is normal. Note: The more the legs are extended, the shakier the washer will be during operation. We have some Anti-Vibration Pads that may help with this issue. Please check our site for these or reach out to our GE Parts team. If you have any questions in the future, please let us know. Pretty Quiet and Great doing what it’s meant to do and that’s washing clothes. The Agitator is a plus if you want clean clothes. Easy Controls with enough space for heavy loads of laundry. Also capable to link to wifi using the Smart HQ App. Overall until now Great Washing Machine.

The cleaning is so much better than my old washer. What used to require spot attention, doesn’t even require to get clean.

I’ve had the washer for a little less than a month and have been overall pleased with the results. It’s quite, and I love the notifications the app and Alexa gives me. As long is you balance your clothes in there right, you shouldn’t have any issues!

It washes clothes really well. The only thing I would recommend is maybe making a better tray for detergent. Hard to put scoops in and if you pull it out too far it just falls off. So you have to line it back up and put it back in.

Posted .Your new washer may sound different from your prior unit because of the newer technology. Clicks, water flowing, gear sounds followed by pauses, and electric hum sounds are all part of the normal wash cycle. We recommend you review the support article on the GE Appliances website titled: "Top Load Washer - Normal Sounds".
For help with the balancing concern, please make sure washer is properly leveled with all four legs firmly on the floor. Also, try not to overload the washer with your loads.

Only recommend using efficiency mode for very light loads, as there’s not much water dispensed in this mode.
