Hi there - We recommend the use of HE detergent with all our washer models. If you're not using HE detergent, this could cause residue buildup. We also recommend closely following the usage directions on the detergent to ensure you're using the right amount of product as using too much could cause this issue as well. Hello- Thanks so much for your purchase! This is a beautiful set! It is normal to hear certain sounds that you may not be used to hearing. A drumming noise is caused by air being pushed out of the basket towards the outer case. This causes the cabinet/outer case to move in and out which may sound like someone is beating on a drum. We have a link with normal sounds that you will hear from your new washer on our site if you'd like to check them out. We also have some optional Anti-Vibration pads that may help! We'd like to help out with your washer not spinning. We recommend trying out an electronic reset, by unplugging the power cord for 2-3 minutes, then plugging it back in. You can also check our article titled "Top Load Washer - Does Not Spin" on our GE Appliances, for additional troubleshooting. If the troubleshooting doesn't help, we recommend scheduling an appointment with our Bodewell service team by calling 1-833-426-3393.

Thank you for sharing your concerns. Your new washer may make sounds that are new to you. We have included descriptions of these sounds on Page 28 of the Owner's Manual. Some of these sounds can be lessened by adjusting the level legs. We recommend checking to be sure your washer is level. Page 25, Step 7 of the same manual offers directions to check to ensure the unit is level and how to adjust the legs if needed. The online manual is available by clicking on the Features tab and scrolling down to the clickable link at the bottom. If you continue to have concerns, please call Bodewell Service at 833-4BODEWELL (833-426-3393) to schedule a service appointment to have your washer checked.

Hello there - We're happy to hear you're enjoying your new washer. This model is designed with an impellor instead of an agitator, and an agitator cannot be added into the unit. Hello - Thanks for taking the time to reach out. It is normal to hear some noises when using this washer. We recommend you review pg. 28 of the owner's manual for a description of different sounds you should expect to hear from your unit. If you still feel the noise is abnormal, we recommend that you schedule a service appointment with one of our qualified GE technicians using the information on pg. 30 of the owner's manual. Hello - If your washer is not spinning, please make sure you have selected a spin option. Also, Make sure the cycle selected matches the load you are washing.
