Violent at first but now “behaves” well

She immediately wanted this one when we went to best buy. Im not sure why, she says she has an instinct for the best thing to get. Best Buy had it delivered and installed very smoothly. However, when we first started using it, it would vibrate violently and move around if we used the bulky setting. It also makes different noises when compared to our previous machine. However, after switching to normal wash mode, the vibrating stopped and now is fine. We were thinking of returning it but thankfully it “behaves” now and washes our clothes fine.

Clicks, water flowing, gear sounds followed by pauses, and electric hum sounds are all part of the normal wash cycle. Nosy at start and no charm when done.

The display panel stop working. I love the color BUT when it starts it makes lots of loud sound. Like the gears are connecting but they are. It works. Also when the washer finishes there no beep or charms to indicate it finished.

With the see through lid, you can watch the entire cycle. It does not use a lot of water, so I always wash in deep fill mode to fully cover my very large loads with water. It does a good job during agitation of moving the clothes around. I love using the time delay feature!

I did not give it 5 stars for 2 reasons (1) the machine is very loud (2) there is no audio signal to alert you when the wash cycle is completed.

My queen size blankets fit in easily with room to spare. The only feature I miss is being able to use tap water temp instead of cold.

GE Profile HE Washer has many useful options

Everything in the description is true to form. It does a great job on cleaning our clothes, the spin action is perfect, and having the low profile agitator prevents piling on the microfiber and fleece blankets I use for foster kitten bedding. It also does a great job on unbalanced loads. The sensor correction is perfect. I'm giving it a 5 star rating on price because I got it on sale.

As this was my first washer without an agitator, was a little concerned whether clothes were really being cleaned. Glad to say I’m happy with results. I like the large capacity of the tub, and it runs fairly quietly. Washer has a lot of features, so a bit of a learning curve. Old saying applies - “use it or lose it”, so I’m embracing the challenge.

We just washed our king size comforter and it came out clean and fresh! I was initially worried that the agitation propeller wasn't going be very efficient, but I was proven wrong. We love being able to see through the top lid and the color of the machine is nice!

Gets off balance easy & the detergent cup mildews

I have to put the clothes in just right. It has a storage cup for laundry detergent, but the cup gets mildewed and stinky. I have to leave the top open so it does not mildew. But, that was why I switched to the top loader because I did not have to leave the door open on my front loader!

I would recommend it for every day use. not really for bathroom carpets.

Posted .We are happy to hear you love your washer. We understand the need to wash your rugs but don't recommend washing rugs that have a rubber backing on them. The rubber can get ripped and come off and clog the drain. If your rugs don't have a rubber back, we recommend adding a few towels with your rug to balance out the load.
