Lid not closed message less than a month from owning it. Didnt buy the best buy warranty so now I have to wait 17 days for GE to get someone out to do the warranty repair. It is much loud than i had expected it to be, the 13 year old units we replaced were much quieter. So far very disappointed. Gave it 2 stars because it fits a lot of laundry and the color is nice

Amazing Washer!! Have had for a few weeks now and love it! Super quiet, gets clothes clean! Holds ours California king comforter very easily and washes it like a champ! And for nearly $300 off, no brainer!

Purchased this to replace a 10 year old front load washer that dramatically quit on us. This was on display so we were able to “play” with it. Compared to our old front load, this machine cleans and drains extremely well. We have used all the modes on the dial and have had great success. If you have an unbalanced load, it will show a message stating it is trying to balance the load, which is nice.The Smart HQ app is nice and allows me to monitor the machine and gives me a useage chart which is nice. I love that after enabling the Alexa skill, I now get notified when the load is done. So far no complaints, i just hope it wil last ten years or more.

This washing machine is huge! It can handle a very large load and cleans well.

I've never had a washer that doesn't have an agitator, and when I first saw this washer didn't have one, I was a little unsure about it. I thought it wouldn't work as well. But I was wrong. It's amazing. I love that I can adjust the soil level and the spin level. It's really great having a washer that I can change all of the settings to what's needed for what I'm washing. Like the dryer, it took a little getting used to. But now that I understand what I'm doing with it, it's great!

This washer is pretty big in size. Allows me to cut down on loads and water usage. My first ever appliance i purchased on my own and I love it.

Good washer but inner part of lid as well as hinge are made of subpar material & break easily & entire lid had to replace. Lid underneath & around outer part definitely needs an updated design with better made material (heavier plastic or metal underneath washer lid).

Extremely Disappointing Product and Customer Support I purchased this washer and dryer set in September 2024, and unfortunately, it has been nothing but frustration since then. Within the first three months, the dryer experienced a blown fuse. Best Buy refused to replace it because it was outside their 30-day return window, and GE also declined to replace or properly support the issue. Just over one year after purchase, the washer lid broke (see photos). The timing was especially frustrating because the washer only comes with a one-year warranty. GE would not repair the unit unless I purchased an extended warranty for an additional $375. Feeling pressured and left without options, I agreed to purchase the warranty through GE’s partners, Assurant and Bodewell. What followed was weeks of wasted time and poor communication. A technician eventually came out but did not have the required replacement lid. He stated he would order the part and return in two weeks. Two weeks passed with no updates, no part shipment, and no follow-up. When I called to check on the status, I was shocked to learn that the claim had been closed and no part was ever ordered. Trying to resolve this required multiple calls to customer service, each involving extremely long hold times just to reach a representative. Every call resulted in being transferred, placed on hold again, or given conflicting information. No one took ownership of the issue, and there was no proactive communication at any point. Meanwhile, we have been without a functioning washer for over a month. Between the early product failures, limited warranty coverage, poor coordination with service partners, and excessive customer service hold times, this has been one of the worst appliance ownership experiences I’ve had. I am now canceling the extended warranty and seeking a refund due to the complete lack of service. I strongly recommend avoiding this product. The quality is poor, and if something goes wrong, be prepared for endless hold times, broken promises, and unresolved issues. Save yourself the stress and look elsewhere.

I got the washer about 2 months ago and so far it’s been effective. Every once in a while it does get a bit noisy which it’s why I have it a 4 but other than that it does the job well

First appliance purchase. Had an initial hiccup with a delivery process, but with the assistance of the management team, they expedited the appliances - all turned out great the gentlemen who delivered our items, extremely courteous and professional, and not to mention very clean when assembling the equipment and disposing of any trash, and they took the time out to test the equipment, which I was very impressed so all in all I recommend to anyone purchasing appliances from Best Buy - great name brands with pricing. The appliances work great! Thank you!!

I like this washer because it's bigger than my last one but i don't like that when i wash a load sometimes my clothes be still wet not damp wet. I also do not like the length of time it takes to wash my clothes.

It’s nice. It’s large. But … if you use scent beads of any kind, you have to use extra rinse cycle or the beads don’t melt enough and your laundry will be riddled with spots of half melted scent beads . I’ve tried everything but the only solution is to run it long.

The item is good, I will recommend user to buy this one.
