Nice Machine with WiFi

This was on display so we were able to “play” with it. Compared to our old front load, this machine cleans and drains extremely well. We have used all the modes on the dial and have had great success. If you have an unbalanced load, it will show a message stating it is trying to balance the load, which is nice.The Smart HQ app is nice and allows me to monitor the machine and gives me a useage chart which is nice. I love that after enabling the Alexa skill, I now get notified when the load is done. So far no complaints, i just hope it wil last ten years or more.

I decided to bless a random stranger, mom of five with my washer and dryer and bought me a new set. This new set, along with the technician Best Buy sent to repair it has failed me. Long story short, the washer NEVER drained so my kids and I had to remove all the clothes from a washer full of water and hand wring them out. The delivery people scratched up the dryer. The tech that came to fix the dryer caused me to have to file a claim. An ADT guy was there with me and my children when my entire eat in kitchen area, living room and kitchen was flooded. Brand new rugs, flooring, game system, cabinets and so much more DESTROYED!!! We literally had to use EVERY towel in our home to try to stop the water. And I am left with a washer that still has water, no towels and no way to wash clothes and was told I can’t get a loaner. The next date available for this unit is February 7, which I don’t want another piece of junk. My home is destroyed. I can’t wash clothes and have to buy ALL NEW TOWELS, RUGS, FLOORING, ETC. NOT A HAPPY TOTAL TECH MEMBER OF MANY YEARS!!!!

The cyckes are easy. My clothes are clean and smell fresh. I like the app reminders as well

Every once in a while it does get a bit noisy which it’s why I have it a 4 but other than that it does the job well

Washer Lid/Hinges Are Poorly Made

Lid underneath & around outer part definitely needs an updated design with better made material (heavier plastic or metal underneath washer lid).

Clicks, water flowing, gear sounds followed by pauses, and electric hum sounds are all part of the normal wash cycle.
