What's with the pump?

Day 3 the pump started making a horrible noise whenever it's running ... super loud and consistent ... we will see if they stand behind it.

Posted .We certainly want to assist with any issue you're having with your washer. Troubleshooting tips are available starting on page 22 of your manual, which is available on our GE Appliances website when you look up the model number and go to the product's page. Sounds are specifically discussed on page 24. Among other tips, we recommend ensuring the washer is leveled (the leveling legs can be adjusted if needed); if it's not level, that may lead to extra vibration and noise. We also have an article about noises on our GE Appliances website, titled "Top Load Washer - Noises Heard During Agitation"; you can view that when you look up the title and click the 'Support' tab. They left it because the washer still worked. They replaced it today 5 days later with a brand new machine. This is why I trust Best Buy with my business. HD would have tried to repair it. Been there, done that.
