Your top-load HE Hydrowave washer with Infusor wash technology provides excellent performance while using less water and energy than a traditional top load washer. Some differences between an infusor model and agitator model will be noticeable during operation. The Infusor system relies on the friction of the clothes to loosen and lift dirt particles. Zipping sound: The drive system of this washer does not use gears. This is the normal sound of the motor rotating back and forth to clean the clothes. Posted .We'd like to help with any issues you're having with your washer. If the clothes aren't washing well, we recommend ensuring the water temperature is at least 120 degrees Fahrenheit. Other troubleshooting tips are available in your Use and Care manual; the manual can be viewed on our GE Appliances website when you look up the model number and go to the product's page, and the Troubleshooting Tips section starts on page 22. Regarding the issue with balance, we recommend ensuring the washer is leveled (the leveling legs can be adjusted if needed) and items are loaded evenly and loosely around the outside of the basket. The washer having an infusor rather than an agitator would not affect the balance. If you aren't able to resolve the issues with the washer, Bodewell (GE Appliances' team of appliance care experts) can be reached at 833-426-3393. Safety Concern

Even an old Kenmore. We were always able to pack those to the brim. Even with the Samsung recall, we never had an issue with heavy loads in that model. However this washer certainly gave us a lot of cause for concern on a medium sized sheet load. I’m bummed that I cannot upload the video here. We heard a loud banging noise in the house. We walked into the laundry room to see the drum slamming against both sides of the casing of the washer. By the end of it, the washer bounced about 2 feet from its original position. The washer was leveled, and we had evenly distributed the sheets (even though these machines are supposed to even out the loads themselves.) I appreciate Best But for letting me exchange things in situations like this, as dealing with the-manufacturer can be very painful.
