Your top-load HE Hydrowave washer with Infusor wash technology provides excellent performance while using less water and energy than a traditional top load washer. Some differences between an infusor model and agitator model will be noticeable during operation. The Infusor system relies on the friction of the clothes to loosen and lift dirt particles. Zipping sound: The drive system of this washer does not use gears. This is the normal sound of the motor rotating back and forth to clean the clothes. So far my clothes have been clean no complaints. Quick tip: do not add powder to top of clothes like manual states. Machine does not fill with enough water to dissolve powder. Add powder before loading
