Not worth the headache

Thought large capacity we could wash a comforter... no, you have to take it out and wash it again after rearranging.... clothes, we have to wash twice because you can still smell clothes from perfume or work on them, it is never clean after 1 wash and rinse... even soaking with vinegar and baking soda, clothes are just never clean. Will not balance for anything, we have tried everything. I absolutely hate this washing machine.

You definitely have to pay attention in the early days to understand what works and doesn’t.

This thing spins like a crazy and cut down the time the dryer needs to run. Very happy so far. Down side, I had to wait 10 days for delivery.

Buyer beware, avoid GE

Bought it for my daughter as a house warming gift, and within two months it has flooded her laundry room four times. GE customer service is abysmal. They have sent techs out 4 times, twice saying they found different problems, twice saying there was nothing wrong. GE still has not fixed the washer and when I requested a replacement, GE told me we have not had enough failures to qualify for replacement yet. I will never consider another GE product. Buyer beware, GE produces garbage, and their warranty is useless.

Reliable and Easy to Use

It has a large stainless steel tub; quiet when washing; and efficient. It is a nice-looking washing machine. I only have 1 complaint: When pressing the wash cycle button. I keep getting the "pause" cycle. It is excellent other than that issue.

Posted .We'd like to help with any issues you're having with your washer. If the clothes aren't washing well, we recommend ensuring the water temperature is at least 120 degrees Fahrenheit. Other troubleshooting tips are available in your Use and Care manual; the manual can be viewed on our GE Appliances website when you look up the model number and go to the product's page, and the Troubleshooting Tips section starts on page 22. Regarding the issue with balance, we recommend ensuring the washer is leveled (the leveling legs can be adjusted if needed) and items are loaded evenly and loosely around the outside of the basket. The washer having an infusor rather than an agitator would not affect the balance. If you aren't able to resolve the issues with the washer, Bodewell (GE Appliances' team of appliance care experts) can be reached at 833-426-3393.
