That being said, I've had this washer for 3 months, and it started leaking water everywhere while in use. We called Geek Squad, they said we had to wait 3 days for a tech, which, ok. But this guy turns out to not be a tech, but an installer, who says he can't do anything for us and we need to make another appointment. So we call Geek Squad again, who tells us oops, you have to contact GE. So we call GE and it will be TEN DAYS before anyone can get out here to fix this machine. I have 3 kids, 2 of them being teenage girls. Every parent out there, especially of a teen, knows how quickly laundry piles up with them, so now I have to either utilize family members' machines or go to a laundromat for the next 10 days (it's been 2 days since the tech was here, so technically 8 days now, but still). This is unacceptable to me; I'm so disappointed with this purchase and the customer service. My LG top-loader was working just fine, I should have kept it and only replaced my dryer.

Whirlpool washer. Yuck.

I think it's because there's no agitator which I thought would be better, but whirlpool knew it wasn't. Best buy has a 15 day warranty which is a joke, disgusting and very rude to do.

We are more than happy to provide guidance with this washer and its balancing. Loading does have a direct impact on the balancing of this washer. It is advised to load dry items loosely in the washer basket. For best results, load items evenly and loosely around the outside of the basket, filling in towards the center on larger loads. We also recommend ensuring that the washer is properly leveled. All four washer leveling legs will need to be adjusted until the washer is level left to-right and front-to-back. To level the washer, adjust the leveling legs by rotating the individual leg in the proper direction for up or down. If these tips do not help with the balancing, service is advised. You can schedule an appointment with a Bodewell technician by calling 833-4BODEWELL (833-426-3393).

Troubleshooting tips are available starting on page 22 of your manual, which is available on our GE Appliances website when you look up the model number and go to the product's page. Sounds are specifically discussed on page 24. Among other tips, we recommend ensuring the washer is leveled (the leveling legs can be adjusted if needed); if it's not level, that may lead to extra vibration and noise. We also have an article about noises on our GE Appliances website, titled "Top Load Washer - Noises Heard During Agitation"; you can view that when you look up the title and click the 'Support' tab. Worse Purchase Ever

Owned it less than a month and it is already broken. Will not spin and keeps making a clicking noise over and over again. Completely my fault I did not get the Best Buy warranty because we did not expect it to last less than a month. Now we have to wait over a week to get someone to look at it. Back to the laundry mat we go because we can not go without clean clothes. So not only are we out almost $1500.00 that we paid for the set now we are out money to go elsewhere to get our clothes washes.
