Easy settings. Washes thoroughly. The top fill feature helps break up soap. The dispensers at the top make it easy for add ins, but be aware the water doesn’t always drain out.

Got my a new GE Profile washer today and theres a dent on the side . The guy who install the washer did not check or tell me about the dent . Im very disappointed

This GE Profile washer has been a total game-changer for our home. The 5.0 cu. ft. capacity is huge — I can wash king-size bedding and big loads without any problem. It saves me time and trips back and forth to the laundry room. The Smarter Wash Technology actually works — it adjusts to each load and gets everything super clean while still being gentle on clothes. I also really like the Microban feature. You can tell it keeps things fresher and helps prevent that musty smell some washers get over time. The design is sharp — the Diamond Gray looks really sleek, and the top-load design is super easy to reach into (no more leaning way over like with front-loaders). The controls are straightforward, and having Wi-Fi features is a nice bonus — I get alerts on my phone when the cycle's done. Only thing I noticed is it can get a little loud during the spin cycle, but it doesn’t bother me much. Overall, I’m really impressed. It looks great, works even better, and makes laundry feel like less of a chore. Definitely worth it.

This replaced a 15 year old front loader that was very reliable but finally wasn't worth the repair cost. Was hesitant to go with a top loader as old front loader worked so well but top load fit better in my laundry room. Also was unsure about washer with a impeller instead of agitator but wanted try one to see how well they wash cloths. I am pleased to say that I am happy with how well this machine performs. Seems to clean clothes very well. More convenient to load and unload clothes than front loader. I haven't had too many problems with machine being unbalanced. The sensors and rebalancing operation of the machine works very well most of the time. With normal laundry it has never become unbalanced. With heavy blankets I have to load the machine a bit more carefully. With regards to noise it operates at about the same volume as any other machine I have used, it just sounds different. The specs say it is 27 and 7/8 inches wide, it did fit perfectly into my existing 28 inch drain pan. I think this is one of the best value machines in the GE line, good set of features and wash modes without going overboard on stuff most people don't use. Smartphone app works well. The size is good for a family of 5. If I had a larger laundry room I still think I would go front load VS topload for water efficiency and a few other reasons. However, if you have to go top load or just prefer them this is a great washer.

I love my washer. I have the matching dryer as well. I rely heavily on reviews and ultimately settled on this one. I love the color and especially the glass top. I have a couple of gripes though: 1). I don’t feel fulfilled when I sanitize the drum because the water doesn’t fill up the entire tub during the sanitizing cycle. And there is technically no specific cycle that is dedicated to solely disinfecting/sanitizing the drum. 2). The cycle to use if you want your clothes completely submerged is the “bulky” cycle. 3). It is very sensitive to clothes so don’t overload. It will throw off balance and make a lot of noise. Overall, there were several complaints of the washer being noisy. It’s not the most quiet machine, but it isn’t the loudest either. It doesn't bother me at all. I just close the laundry room door and the noise is very minimal. Other than that, I love the smart connect and the tunes of the machine. It’s a great product; very attractive and sleek. I am satisfied. I hope it last me a while. This year will be 2 yrs come September.

Buying a new washer and dryer was more stressful than buying a new car for us - we spent so long researching relentlessly on what was the best to get. We’ve now had this set for coming up on a year and can confidently give it 5 stars! We are a VERY picky household when it comes to laundry, and these machines have been nothing but amazing from the start. Extremely reliable, amazing wash and dry, and we’ve noticed neither cause damage to our clothes the way previous machines have. The gentle cycles are GENTLE. Five stars right there for us. We are actually never nervous to wash new things now, which is huge in our house. The app connection and machine cycle type communication are like the cherries on top. And buying through Best Buy has been amazing - one of the machines was pretty heftily damaged on delivery and the delivery guys were AMAZING. They showed us right away, asked what we wanted to do, and helped us arrange a re-delivery. Overall cannot say enough about how great these machines have been, how they were worth every penny, and how we are so pleased with our decision to purchase through Best Buy. I work in/around reviews for a living and know how valuable an honest, positive review can be, and do not leave this review lightly! One of our best adult money purchases to date.

Excellent machine. Bought for my son’s first home. It’s just him, but he washes a lot of heavy loads. His jeans are covered in oil and grease and often washes 10-12 or of jeans or heavy weight pants at a time. This machine is super fast! Has it about 15 months with no issues. The dials are easy to understand and use. Top loand isn’t too bad for a 5’1 person to reach the stray sock at the bottom (it’s not easy, but doable).

Could not ask for a better washer. I’ve had them all, from all of the brands. This is by far the best , easiest to run and work, and leaves clothes feeling perfect. I originally hesitated because I saw a review about the door hinges being weak, but I have had it for a good while now and even with my 7 and 8 year old boys helping wash clothes it still holds up. Hindges and lid do feel a little cheaper compared to the rest of the unit but as long as it continues to hold up and I am cautious about it , it’s perfect!

I purchased this washer because I wanted something not too computerized as I feel like in the long run, knobs would be easier to repair. It is a bit louder than my old whirlpool, but because it is in an enclosed washer/dryer room, it doesn't bother me. The one thing that I dislike is that with the softener, the instructions doesn't clearly state that the only time it gets dispensed is when you set the rinse to deep rinsing. Also, for some reason, whenever I put softener in the dispenser, there appears to be a lot leftover. Perhaps I'm putting too much. In addition, in regards to the dispenser, it's not very intuitive to take it out so that I can rinse it out from time to time. It took me a few tries, but I think I got the hang of it. Overall, this washer is just OKAY. It's a big size for my family of 4 and I like that there is an app that I can connect to that will notify me when the cycle is complete.

Its okay, buy not overl impressed. It will frequently become unbalaned, and noisy slamming around. It wont go noticed because you will loudly from the basement. I thought it needed some repair, but when I redistribute the load it woud be fine, even though when loaded it was distributed fine. I think its a defect from not having an agitater it has trouble keeping load balanced. The clothes also don't come out super clean. I had a old washer that finally died, and it was far supieror as to balance, clothes cleanliness, and you could mix lint producers with non lint producers, but if you do that with this machne your clothes will have notacable lint pilling almost immediately.

This GE washer is a little louder than my last one, but it holds about twice the amount of clothes. It’s a huge time saver and works really well.

Nice machine and cleans well. First time in a long time I actually smell and see the difference. Had an lg but felt like clothes were not clean. A little loud but it’s a washer - really doing the job as expected

love it quiet the only thing i haven't understood is why it doesnt add enough water i think on the other settings other than bulky the sense slowly spins clothes but im afraid they will get ruined especially with out water i don't know if its me or the washer it some times become unbalanced

Open box, great help loading in my truck and bubble wrap. nice price, but there was a better markdown the day before. The machine is great. Super capacity, more than I need really. The custom setting and auto feature is great. Looks nice. It is a bit noisy as others have said. I've only had it a month, so time will tell on durability.

Just got this washer a couple weeks ago and I’m honestly impressed. The capacity is HUGE — I can do bedding and big loads without splitting them up. The Smarter Wash tech actually works; it adjusts everything automatically based on the load and my clothes come out super clean every time. I also love the Microban feature. No more musty smells like with my old washer. It keeps the drum fresh between loads. And the SmartHQ app is a nice bonus — I get cycle alerts on my phone so I don’t forget laundry in the machine. Only minor downside is that it’s a bit louder during the spin cycle than I expected, but nothing deal-breaking. Overall, it looks sleek in diamond gray and works like a charm. Definitely worth it!

The washer works great. It cleans everything and can hold a lot of laundry. It is super easy to use and even has the option to save customized settings.

I’ve used my new GE for a month now. I’m not sure I’m all that impressed. On the normal cycle you can’t use the deep water setting and it doesn’t put enough water in to actually get the clothes clean. I had a forgotten grocery list in the back pocket of my jeans and after the wash I took the note out, unfolded it and I could still read it clearly. Every other machine I’ve had (and I’ve had many) would have shredded that paper and made a mess in the load. It does hold a lot more clothes than my last machine, I do love that. And it’s pretty! Has lots of options in the settings. In another month maybe I’ll like it more.

PRO: We went back to a Top Loader from the Front Loader that we didn't care for after the newness wore off. So far so good, large capacity, easy to understand controls and options, adjustable functions even within the "preset" load types. We do not use any of the online connections or features. Made in the USA. CON: Really dropped the ball on the drain hose - it is short. After you get the washer unpacked and prepared for install, while reviewing the installation instructions they mention that if the drain hose isn't long enough to ORDER the extension tube kit. You have to unpack the washer to get this information. The drain hoses on our last 4 washers were long enough for our standard drain application but not this one. Ok, not a big deal unless you wanted to use the washer the same day you receive it. Seems like a good machine, stable during spin cycle, quiet, doesn't take an hour to run a normal wash load.

Works as it should. Says it self balances but i dont let it do that seems to knock for longer than if i could just readjust the load
