The washing machine works great, but we had to have the 1st unit replaced as it was defective and leaking. Best Buy replaced the unit and while the 2nd unit leaked slightly when it was installed, things appear to be working OK now...

Love my new GE washer and dryer!! This set has so far been amazing!!

We have had this wash a month and I must say I love it so far. It cleans really well. I love the notifications to my phone when it’s done. I love that I don’t have to grab the heavy soap every-time I wash and the fact that I can adjust the amount of soap the smart dispense uses.

We have only had the washer for a week, but we have been catching up with a lot of laundry since our old washer died. We love all the features of this washer - capacity, the vent system, ease of loading & unloading, the auto-dispense option. The machine is only slightly larger in depth than our old machine and noise has not been an issue. Highly recommend the GE Front-loader.

Long story short our washer went out so originally we just planned to replace it and then i came across the GE profile series and let me just say im blown away by by the series best washer dryer ive had.

Very satisfied. This machine handled everything like cake. large capacity, auto dispense, ultra fresh vent, gorgeous looks and very quiet. Exactly what I was looking for. Replaced my LG set after 13 years of serviced. Respect to the outgoing LG but this one is the perfect fit for the family. I just hope it last for a very long time. Good Job GE!

Excellent product, so happy with my decision. Beautiful colors, quiet and very efficient washer and dryer. I love the “quick setting” which washers in a very quick time and still gives me a great result. Helps me save time and money.

This washer cleans better than the previous front load washer I owned

This is the best dryer I ever purchased. This machine has so much capacity room for big loads or bulky items. I like all the features it comes with, and the fact that I could change the door opening to the other side. Definitely recommend.

This GE washer has been a complete disappointment. Despite following all recommended cleaning and maintenance procedures, mold continues to grow inside the machine and causes a strong, persistent odor. That odor transfers directly to clothing. We have had multiple pieces of expensive clothing ruined because of mold and mildew buildup inside the washer. This is not a minor inconvenience—it’s a serious design flaw. We are currently going through the warranty replacement process with Best Buy due to how bad the issue has become. A washing machine should clean clothes, not damage them. I do not recommend this product to anyone. If you care about your clothing or expect a washer to function properly long-term, look elsewhere.

Probably one of my best buys this year. Really needed to upgrade my washer and dryer. Was hesitant to go to front loaders but was old on the fact that this has a special feature to avoid the smell. With the auto release detergent option, I no longer make a mess pouring soap. Love this set

Installed on June 5, 2025. It's December 16 and the washer has, for the past week, been shaking violently during the rinse cycles. We have a 2 year service plan from Best Buy but we were told we had to go through GE since it's under a year. Lots of features, but the washer broke in 6 months.

I was excited for this washer after reading reviews but I must have gotten a dud that GE won’t do anything to fix. When the unit fills with water it sounds like a gun shot in the house when the valve snaps shut with such a loud banging noise. It’s so aggressive that the hosing snaps back against the wall and causes scratches on the wall paint. The tech said that’s just the design of the washer (which makes no sense). I had plumbers come out, cut into my dry wall, and replace hammer arrestors just in hopes of adding any support, and it did nothing. This washer is a nightmare of a nuisance. I’ve been begging every tech/contact that I connect with to replace or repair this with no luck so far. Side note - I got Best Buy extended care warranty through geek and they would not work on it without GE’s approval, so I wasted even more money on the “peace of mind” purchase through Best Buy which was recommended by them in the store. It’s unfortunate, because the dryer is a dream.

If you enjoy faulty pipes, water damage, sounds of airplanes during spin cycles, sitting on hold with GE for hours to be told they have to transfer you for the 5th time, and visits from repair men, this is the machine for you! I bought this December 2024, the delivery guys left my doors off the hinges and left my floor coated with windex they used to help side the machines. I quickly discovered they did not level this at all. Its super loud, even after I attempted to level it myself (even after paying for install). Then come April 2025 (I've had it for under 4 months). Water starts pouring our of the bottom of the machine, floods my laundry room, we now have water damage that goes into my crawl space. It takes several days to get a tech out. He sees a busted pipe under the machine, says something must have punctured it from our pockets. But hey, business must be pretty good, as he showed up in Range Rover. It then takes a week for GE to get us a part. We get it repaired after 3 weeks of laundry mountains. It now keeps cancelling its own cycle mid way through now and is even more unlevel than before. We had also bought the pedestals, the tech said we should probably put weights in them instead of our laundry soap because the pedestals cause it to be even more off balance and are a waste of money.... so yea 10 out of 10 DO NOT recommend.

1st time buying a front load washer, I was a little iffy because this is not a Samsung or LG. This machine has surpassed my expectations, it washes so well!! Will definitely go buy matching dryer!

Expensive, but worth it. This machine is large and it works. I bought it due to its rating on consumer reports. The automatic venting function keeps the machine from getting mold inside. There is also an automatic detergent dispenser. Awesome buy on sale Labor Day.
