    The best buy delivery could be much better.The drain pan installation was not mentioned in the checklist .It has to be installed by the delivery guys or has to be informed to the customer prior to delivery.

    Great looks and a very quiet wash and spin cycle. Replaced a 15 year old set. Both were made in Louisville Ky. Very important to me.

    When my unit was delivered, the dryer was nonfunctional and would not heat. The delivery technician was aware of the issue but still left the defective unit at my home. This occurred after my working washer and dryer were removed, as I had purchased this set as an upgrade. Over the course of 7 days and approximately 10 hours spent communicating with Best Buy, I attempted to resolve the issue, despite having purchased a 5-year extended warranty. In the meantime, I was forced to use the dryer on the “air” setting, only to discover that the drum continues to spin even when the door is opened, posing a serious safety hazard—especially for children. As for the washer, it fails to fully dissolve detergent pods, leaving residue and melted pod around the rim.. While GE Profile is marketed as a high-end brand, my experience with this set has fallen far short of those expectations.

    I had a previous model that wasn't too bad, only breaking once on a rental property, and it was the drain pump, which is a common problem with these machines: the newer model, crap. The motherboard went bad, then the drainage pump, and after I changed both... the motor started cranking and went bad as well. I wanted to stay with this brand, but sadly, I can't recommend it anymore. Actually, at least with these washers stay away from them. The machine lasted me one year and a half.

      We are so glad you are happy with your purchase. This is a beautiful model, and we are so glad it is working well for you. This does have a Soak Rinse for Sanitizer button to enable. An additional chime will occur, and the cycle time will increase due to additional soaking time to activate the laundry sanitizer. To cancel the option, press the Soak Rinse for Sanitizer button again. NOTE: Fill the fabric softener compartment in the dispenser drawer with the recommended amount of laundry sanitizer.     This is the second washer dryer I have purchased in a year unfortunately they wouldn’t install them in either property. Delivery men said I needed a plumber at both. Plumber came and said it wasn’t true. $250 extra dollars for their “free install”
