    Buy a basic washer

    I have had this washer for less than a year and it is no longer working…it will not complete a cycle or drain. I have reached out to GE to have it repaired, as it is under warranty but that process is not going smoothly. I am being told the earliest it can be serviced is a month from now. Once they do look at it who knows how long it will take from then, if a part needs to be ordered. So, I have a washer that I paid $1300 for ten months ago and I’m going to the laundry mat for the next month and have been for the past week. Ridiculous. No I worked not recommended this washer.

      If you have not already done so, we recommend you disconnect power to your washer for 2-3 minutes to reset the electronics. Also, clean your pump filter as described on Page 21 of the Owner's Manual. If the washer is unable to drain the water from the wash basket, this can prevent it from spinning and/or completing the cycle. If needed, the Owner's Manual is available for you to view, download or print. Click on the Features tab and scroll all the way down till you see the Owner's Manual link.     Washer with A lot of great features

    The service team that installed our new washer was very professional. We have only had the washer a week. This morning the door won’t open after running a load. The help guide says there might be a clog. Fingers crossed that it is an easy fix.

      We're happy to hear that you love your new GE Profile washer! To reduce vibration, ensure that all four rubber leveling legs are firmly touching the floor. Push and pull on the back right and then back left of your washer. If this doesn't prove helpful, we recommend you review the "Loud or unusual

    It's a gas leaker

    Delivered yesterday and installed by BB. Leaks gas when turned on. Unusable--never been used. BB won't replace it immediately and given our schedule it will be a month without laundry. Seems they should put a priority on replacing it, but they will not.

    Great til 3 yr mark then computer bd, bearings, suspension and motor went out. I was very particilar eith load size, but didnt matter.

    Never again

    Broke 5 minutes after the one year warranty expired, almost like they sent a kill command…. Worked pretty nicely for the one year though, I’ll give it that

      We know any issue with your washer must be concerning. We always want to provide a great experience, and we’d like to assist. If the washer doesn’t seem to have power at all, resetting it by disconnecting it from power for a couple of minutes before reconnecting may help. Troubleshooting tips are available starting on page 31 of the manual; if you’d like to view that, you can do so on our GE Appliances website when you look up the model number and go to the product’s page. If you’re not able to resolve the issue with troubleshooting and think service may be needed, Bodewell (GE Appliances’ team of appliance care experts) can be reached at 833-426-3393.     Ask about any Warnings Prior to Buying

    If I had known that there was a cancer and reproductive harm warning on the product prior to it being delivered I wouldn't have purchased it. However, I will say the features on the washer are great!

      California Proposition 65 which was enacted in 1986 requires companies to provide a warning for thousands of consumer products, foods, prescription drugs, alcoholic beverages, enclosed parking facilities, amusement parks, furniture, and other everyday items. We provide the warning to comply with California law and because a Prop 65 chemical may be present. Exposure limits do not exist for all 900+ chemicals. Even inaccessible parts can create a requirement to include the warning. We do understand your concern and want to clarify, the presence of a Prop 65 warning does not necessarily mean the product is unsafe or poses a health risk. GE_Appliances

    Junk had for three years repaired twice now motherboard is out and 600 to fix don’t buy GE if I could give a zero I would limited ten year warranty a joke stay away from waiting your money now have to buy a new one after buying a matching set disgusted!!!!

    DO NOT BUY this GE model - Awful

    I have now been through 3 of these washers and 2 of the matching dryer. Every one I get squeaks rattles and sounds like its going to destroy itself when you use it. I would never buy these again. Only good thing about it is that you can put a king comforter in it. Otherwise BUYER BEWARE!!!!

    its a large trash can

    had the set for 1.5 years now trash,main board burnt out cost 500 to repair,then interface board burnt out will cost 500 plus more,beware pure trash dont buy ,save your money

    They don't honor warranty

    Bad date, no one came! Control panel without pump. Installed pump, says right down the street, be here when part is. It another month! We hired out. GE owes us over $300.00
