I bought it due to its rating on consumer reports. The automatic venting function keeps the machine from getting mold inside. There is also an automatic detergent dispenser. Awesome buy on sale Labor Day.

The loads are efficient. Need to download my cycles as too many settings move to warm or hot water when it is not needed

Keep in mind that I replaced an 18 year old washer- but this unit has all the bells and whistles that I need. One complaint- when I put in a small load (like one hoodie), it tends to get caught up in and endless rinse and spin cycle and never fully spins all of the water out- the hoodie is still saturated. Only solution I have come upon is to add more to the load. Knowing that and planning my washer loads helps solve that issue. Other than that hiccup- the spin cycle is so good I almost don’t have to dry my clothes

I recommend this GE washing machine. I also bought a GE dryer and is also very good.

Best Machine Ever!

I was surprised at how heavy the GE is. It is solid, quiet, and does a great job getting the clothes clean. The automatic soap dispenser is a great feature. The sparkly blue is very pretty.

It has been almost a year and no mold. You have to pull out the dispensary unit and wipe down but that is no big deal. It is mostly quiet or quiet enough for the price tag. Love the smart dispensing part too which goes off of weight.
