Owned for 3 months when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I was excited for this washer after reading reviews but I must have gotten a dud that GE won’t do anything to fix. When the unit fills with water it sounds like a gun shot in the house when the valve snaps shut with such a loud banging noise. It’s so aggressive that the hosing snaps back against the wall and causes scratches on the wall paint. The tech said that’s just the design of the washer (which makes no sense). I had plumbers come out, cut into my dry wall, and replace hammer arrestors just in hopes of adding any support, and it did nothing. This washer is a nightmare of a nuisance. I’ve been begging every tech/contact that I connect with to replace or repair this with no luck so far. Side note - I got Best Buy extended care warranty through geek and they would not work on it without GE’s approval, so I wasted even more money on the “peace of mind” purchase through Best Buy which was recommended by them in the store. It’s unfortunate, because the dryer is a dream.

First of all it's beautiful, it has so many convenient settings, including sanitizing which as a pet owner i thing it's my favorite. I have 2 dogs and they do spend a lot of time outdoors, so i have to constantly wash them and clean there linen and beds, this machine has really made it so muvj easier for me

And american made… the notifications do inform you about status and let you know when you are slow to get your laundry out. Which would be every load yoiur children do…
