We had the washer and dryer for a few months and love them so far.

This GE washer has been a complete disappointment. Despite following all recommended cleaning and maintenance procedures, mold continues to grow inside the machine and causes a strong, persistent odor. That odor transfers directly to clothing. We have had multiple pieces of expensive clothing ruined because of mold and mildew buildup inside the washer. This is not a minor inconvenience—it’s a serious design flaw. We are currently going through the warranty replacement process with Best Buy due to how bad the issue has become. A washing machine should clean clothes, not damage them. I do not recommend this product to anyone. If you care about your clothing or expect a washer to function properly long-term, look elsewhere.

I was excited for this washer after reading reviews but I must have gotten a dud that GE won’t do anything to fix. When the unit fills with water it sounds like a gun shot in the house when the valve snaps shut with such a loud banging noise. It’s so aggressive that the hosing snaps back against the wall and causes scratches on the wall paint. The tech said that’s just the design of the washer (which makes no sense). I had plumbers come out, cut into my dry wall, and replace hammer arrestors just in hopes of adding any support, and it did nothing. This washer is a nightmare of a nuisance. I’ve been begging every tech/contact that I connect with to replace or repair this with no luck so far. Side note - I got Best Buy extended care warranty through geek and they would not work on it without GE’s approval, so I wasted even more money on the “peace of mind” purchase through Best Buy which was recommended by them in the store. It’s unfortunate, because the dryer is a dream.

Installed on June 5, 2025. It's December 16 and the washer has, for the past week, been shaking violently during the rinse cycles. We have a 2 year service plan from Best Buy but we were told we had to go through GE since it's under a year. Lots of features, but the washer broke in 6 months.

I don't even know where to start. We purchased our GE Profile Washer and Dryer in the end of July 2025, somehow there was some confusion and a stacking kit was not included even though we clearly stated that we needed one so we needed to order a stacking kit and have them come back out and stack our appliances. We were on vacation at the time so our son signed for the men to come in and stack them and I cannot even describe the damage that was caused to our appliances. They are no longer in working condition and here we are almost mid-Sept and we are still waiting to have the damages assessed by the company that was not only done to our home but the non-working washer and dryer that I just got a bill for!!! We have been given the complete runaround by everyone and can't get the right people to call us back and all anyone ever says is once you new appliances are delivered we will give you a gift card. Are you kidding me??? I absolutely will never ever buy from Best Buy ever again . This has been a complete nightmare.

The amount of energy and effort, even when we switched the door from left to right, it has been a champ and has helped us tackle dozens of loads of laundry. Would recommend for anyone that has a family.

Great washer! Amazing space capacity. A bit confused about the smart dispense. Maybe great. But wish it was more informative to the dispensing.

The washer is great, but we don't know how to use half the things it could do because it didn't come with instructions or any other manuals. The delivery was very lacking as they refused to hook either the washer or dryer up after they brought them inside although they did put them on the bases.

We love our washer and dryer. So many features, I now love doing laundry. Best Buy associates were wonderful and the installation process was so easy. The guys who installed our system were very helpful and knowledgeable. We are life customers

It is easy to use, Wifi setup was a breeze, holds more than I thought it would. The loads are efficient. Need to download my cycles as too many settings move to warm or hot water when it is not needed

Love this machine. So far I rate my experience 10/10. I would recommend this machine to anyone who like clean & fresh cloth while saving electricity and water.

This has been a great washer been using it for a couple months, saves water and detergent, and withe the dryer it communicates together saves time and money, they also look good too.
