    Do not buy, washer shakes and moves

    I had high hopes for this washer since my LG only lasted 3 years but everything about this washer sucks!!! The only good thing about it is that I paid $899 for it. It shakes, moves and is super loud. I had only 14 days to complain and now I’m stuck with it and very nervous something is going to happen either a total breakdown or it starts to leak badly. I wish I had known not to purchase the matching pedestal because I feel that might be the root of the problem and possibly the washer too. The installation also sucked and I feel like an idiot having gotten rid of the first washer and now the replacement is just as bad. The second installers suggested that it could be from the pedestal but by the time I complained to Best Buy, the 14 day warranty expired even though I did buy a warranty, Best Buy will not have another repair service to come and get rid of the pedestal to see if that genuinely is the problem. I will not purchase any appliances at Best Buy again!! I will only buy appliances at Home Depot instead.

    So far so good. Beautiful! Highly recommended! I only wish it had a PAUSE feature to add when I realize I dropped a sock!

      We're glad you reached out. Pressing the Start pad again early in the wash cycle will pause the cycle so you can add or remove a garment as needed. It will take a few seconds for the door to unlock after pressing Start/Pause. After adding or removing garments, press again to restart the wash cycle. If the washer is paused and the cycle is not restarted within 15 minutes, the current wash cycle will be cancelled. -Vikki@GEAppliances GE_Appliances

    wow we had different company washer and after wash we don't feel like it was clean thank you we choose this ge and Best Buy washer it works perfect no smell after wash and highly recommended thank you Best Buy and ge .....

    I would like to express my dissatisfaction with my recent experience regarding a dryer purchase I made on February 22. Unfortunately, I have not had the opportunity to use the appliance. I scheduled a delivery for the first week of March, and after making arrangements with my employer to be home, I was informed just two days prior to the delivery that the dryer is on back order, with the next available delivery date being April 19. I find this situation quite frustrating, especially since I have not received any compensation for the inconvenience caused. I confirmed that someone would be home to accept the delivery, yet there was an attempt to reschedule because I could not answer the phone while the driver was outside. Additionally, while I am currently on vacation in Scotland, I learned that the installation did not occur because the installer claimed that the spring valve was out of code. However, he was unable to provide any documentation and did not seem to communicate effectively in English. I am seeking clarification on these issues, as this experience has left me very unhappy, and I may reconsider my future purchases with Best Buy. Thank you for your attention to this matter.

    I loce this washing machine; the large capacity allows my to wash all 6 family members clothing in no time. The sanitizing festire is a must; the drum always smell fresh.

    I’m really in love with my new set. The drum is larger than my last washer and I could get my king size sheets/pillowcases, quilt, and 2 throw blankets in one load, still with room to spare! The sapphire blue is beautiful and there’s even some sparkle to it.

    Constant disconnects from the GE app. Reconnecting takes forever and often fails, so remote features are useless. Worse, the washer sometimes skips the final spin entirely, leaving soaking laundry and forcing a repeat Drain & Spin. Build quality feels cheap for the price. I regret this purchase.

    Love that I can put a whole bottle of tide in it.Dont have to have that out and it dispenses what I need per load.love I can check on my phone if it's finished,instead of walking down two flights of stairs to check. It's large capacity I can do ally bedding in one load.9⁹ of

    It’s ok, so far it’s been okay,my only complain is the add water part,you can’t add more water on the normal cycles.

    To be clear, the features are new to me! Really love the venting system. I turn it on and it dries out the inside of the washer. With my previous washer, I had to leave the door open to air it out.

    Not as good as previous model.

    I had a previous model that wasn't too bad, only breaking once on a rental property, and it was the drain pump, which is a common problem with these machines: the newer model, crap. The motherboard went bad, then the drainage pump, and after I changed both... the motor started cranking and went bad as well. I wanted to stay with this brand, but sadly, I can't recommend it anymore. Actually, at least with these washers stay away from them. The machine lasted me one year and a half.
