Returned item after this continued for almost two weeks. Thought I had something rotten in trash … not. It was the front load washer!

The Ice maker not longer making ice or so little. I do not recomended to buy this brand. By the way i thinking to see if i can get my money back.

Posted .It is normal for the washer to pause up to 3 minutes between cycles as the timer advances forward. For example, there may be a 3-minute delay at the end of agitation prior to the washer pumping out the water and going into the spin cycle. After the pump out, the washer will begin to spin. We don't recommend that you manually advance the timer because if it is pausing after agitation, you may miss the pump out portion of the cycle when doing this. Another cause for the washer isn't draining out is due to a blown fuse or tripped breaker. Also, the load size can factor into it, and we always recommend checking your pump filter to see if it may need to be cleaned. Wiring harness slaps the bottom during spin cycle.

I found that the wiring harness on the bottom was banging the bottom of the washer's metal case as thought he wiring harness was too long or poorly designed / manufactured. Unfortunately most appliances seemed poorly manufactured these days, and I'd give GE an "ok" rating, but fully expect them to fail much sooner the the 19 years our last set lasted.

The dryer is completely unable to dry clothes.

Even after running it through 5–6 full cycles, the clothes are still damp and unwearable. It does not matter which setting or cycle is used—the result is always the same. Essentially saying the dryer is useless. For a brand-new appliance, this is unacceptable.

GE customer service is terrible, have tried multiple times to contact a customer service representative. Every time it seems as though someone picks up the phone and sets it down while I can hear them doing something in the background they never respond or acknowledge the call.

And GE is a good name brand. It is LOUD… it bangs a lot… I literally thought it had shoes in the machine or something. And it shook so much that I thought it was going to put a hole in the wall…and it moved out of the space it was in. I’m so sad because I wanted this to work out… I had to return it…

Installation crew doesnt care. (Geek Squad)

Needless to say we woke up to the whole house smelling like gas. We had to call a different service company to fix it. They also scratched up both sides of the washer amd dryer. And they didnt mount the stacking kit properly.

Very Loud and noisy

It’s loud and noisy, wash cycle produces upto 60decibles and spin upto 75decibles. Can’t return it and contacted GE, they replaced a part but the problem loud noise still persists. A regretful purchase.

After 2 additional spin cycles the bathroom rug was still dripping wet with water. The rug is only 2x3 at most, never had a problem washing it in my other washers.

Don’t Buy from Best Buy

Delivery men said I needed a plumber at both. Plumber came and said it wasn’t true. $250 extra dollars for their “free install”
