    Had this dryer for about one year, then the heat stopped working. Repair person was familiar with the model (bad sign) and fixed it. Heat stopped working again. Repair person said these aren't made well. He was right.

    Horrible customer service as mentioned in prior review. Had to cancel the original order and rebuy at a higher price and was not provided any help by customer service as I bought it online. Although store manager tried his best to help. Never buying anything from best buy online

    I got this dryer after my 20 year old Kenmore washer broke. I wanted to get a set that matched. They just don't make appliances like they used to. So many electronic cycles that just don't get it done. It took 3 rounds to get my clothes fully dry and they weren't large loads. I have returned both the GE washer and this dryer and put my Kenmore back in. NEVER AGAIN!!!!

      We’d be happy to help with your dryer’s drying performance. We recommend checking the fuses/circuit breakers to ensure there's no issue. Some electric dryers use two fuses/breakers. If only one is operating, performance will be impacted. We also advise making sure the ducting isn't obstructed. Additional tips are available starting on page 15 of the manual, which you can view on our GE Appliances website when you look up the model number and go to the product's page. We also have an article on our GE Appliances website titled “Dryer - Taking Too Long To Dry Clothes or Not Drying at All" that has troubleshooting; that can be viewed when you look up the title and click the 'Support' tab. If you aren't able to resolve this with troubleshooting, our service team Bodewell can be reached at 833-426-3393. A technician can examine the dryer for any issues. GE_Appliances

    GE Dryer is making so much noise. Otherwise it is good looking Dryer & dries good but makes lots of noise while drying.

      Hello- Thanks so much for your purchase. We are happy to hear your dryer is working well and you like the Diamond Gray color. It is a beautiful model! We are sorry to hear it is making noise. There is a normal squeak when the dryer is started. This start-up squeak should go away after the first few seconds of operation. Also, the sound of the drum as it turns. Sounds that are not normal: ~A thumping sound. ~A humming sound. ~ A squeak that develops after the dryer has heated up but is not heard when the dryer is cool. ~ A squeaking that is very short and repeats every few seconds (like a chirping sound).     I am so mad with the GE dryer and the company itself. The dryer has ruined several items by snagging them and it also doesn’t completely dry the clothes after the full cycle run. I contacted GE because of course Best Buy has a sorry return time and I’m at a stand still because they don’t listen to the actual issues when explaining. DO NOT BUY THIS DRYER!!

    Would rate 0 but not option. Has defects that GE is not disclosing with purchasers. Broke within the first year and GE refuses to replace. Just sending techs every 2 weeks to fix. Have not have a working dryer in months due to their negligible customer care. Techs keep coming and saying they all have this issue and GE will never replace it properly. Never purchasing another item from GE ever again

    Do not buy!! Total waste of money!! Takes 4 hours to dry clothes!! Still under warranty and trchnician has been out 3 times and he says nothing wrong with it! I’m done with GE - never buying anyrhing made by GE

    The dryers takes 3 cycles to dry I am sure my electric bill is way higher with this dryer. Not loving this set at all. Horrible set from GE.

    Probably the worst washer/dryer set we have ever owned. Dryer never worked quite right and Best Buy would never make it right. We have had to replace in less than 2 yrs.

    I bought this equipment confident that it would work properly, however, more than a month ago I notified the technical service that the dryer did not work until today.
