Posted .Hello SpewnDaddy, Thank you for reaching out to us regarding our GE Ultra Pro Bar HD 400 Amplified Antenna. We’re sorry to hear that you’re experiencing signal issues with our product. Our priority is to offer complete customer satisfaction for all our customers. As the manufacturer, we are very interested in supplying consumers with a quality product that delivers the expected performance. Anytime we hear problems encountered in the use of one of our products, we want to get involved and resolve the difficulties the best we can.
First, make sure that the antenna is fully extended on each end. This will allow the antennas dipoles to be fully extended for better reception. The antenna must be connected to the TV and connected to a power source at all times in order for the antenna to function properly. Once these steps are complete we suggest you run another channel scan. If you are still not able to access any channels, your antenna may be over amplifying the signal. We recommend that you turn off the amplifier behind the antenna and rescan for channels again. You can use a website like www.tvfool.com to find the direction your signals are coming from and position the antenna where it is facing toward the tower, as well as, positioning the antenna as high off the ground as you can. The repositioning will allow for optimum reception. You will need to rescan your channels once the antenna has been repositioned.
If the problem persists, Please contact our Support team at 1-800-654-8483, press option 4 and provide our Support Team with your personal ticket # 269712. We look forward to working with you to ensure your complete satisfaction with our GE Ultra Pro Bar HD 400 Amplified Antenna.

Didn't work well in a below ground level location
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Didn't work well in a below ground level location. Our location is sits below the surrounding homes due to slight slope and didn't pull in the signals strong enough.

Great for people who don’t want to pay for cable.
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I set this up & received local network stations for free without paying outrageous cable prices. I purchase internet services and have Hulu/Netflix plus the local news/weather. All that I need & more!

It's good
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. It's not quite what I had hoped, but it works and bring a clean picture. It's the best you'll get without hanging an antenna outside your home though.

Not good enough
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. We needed the indoor antenna for the condo we live it right north of Woodfield by Route 53 and I-90. We have tried so many other antennas and cannot get channel 2 in. We thought this high-powered antenna with a 60 mile range would pull Channel 2 in, but it didn't

Great indoor HD Antenna
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. We ditched cable years ago and have tried other indoor HD antennas, but this one is the best yet. Picks up all the big local channels and many I never knew existed. Originally bought one for the living room TV and then another for our bedroom. It's footprint is nice and small too and can easily be mounted on the wall behind the flat screen. Much better than those big, square antennas and much easier than installing an outdoor antenna.

Only 15 miles away and no channels
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. We live 15 miles away from the broadcasting source and only 2 channels popped up. Our older indoor antenna picked up ten more channels. Returned the item and got a outdoor antenna and could not be happier. HD quality and lots of channels now.

Our mission is to provide complete customer satisfaction and quality products that deliver the expected performance. The Antenna may be over amplifying the signal. Based on your current location, from the towers providing signals, your antenna might be receiving too much power causing it to miss the signal. Make sure that the antennas dipoles are fully extended. This will allow the antenna to receive the close range reception.

Didn't work for me
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I live in a fairly rural area, roughly 42 miles from the station I was trying to reach. This antenna is supposed to reach that far, but did not. There are several factors in play, so I'm sure it works for other people. Just didn't for me. Took it back.
