Good HD Antenna
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The mail reason why I purchased this antenna is because I can mount it on the wall and the range would reach my metro area. The mount was easy to install on the wall and it looks nice because the wires are hidden. The negative is there is a limited number of stations that area broadcasting in the Atlanta metro area. About 7 of them. This is not as big of a deal being that the TV is in my exercise room so it won't be watched much anyway. Overall I like me the product.

worth the price
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Got 50 channels. Some are repeats. Who needs cable? Not me! Got some channels that are not even on my cable listing. This thing looks smooth and sleek.

Great Product To Help Cut The Cable Cord
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. We have gradually been cutting the cable cord to reduce spending. The GE UltraPro Bar HD 400 Amplified Antenna made that possible. It works great and we are able to receive all of our local channels in HD.

Attractive, effective, but not omnidirectional
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I'm happy with this antennae. It's small, easy to mount on the wall or tabletop, and is a bargain compared to paying for cable. In Charlotte, it picks up 20+ channels, most in true HD. I have the antennae setting on top of the TV cabinet on the ground floor of my home. Its not artwork, but its unobtrusive, and having it out allows me to turn it for best reception.... which is my only complaint. ... The device will pull in channels best when it is facing the broadcast tower. So to get ALL the channels you want, you MAY have to turn the antennae when you change the channel. I just don't think that there are ANY truly omni-directional antennas on the market... at least not for this price!

Great for people who don’t want to pay for cable.
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I set this up & received local network stations for free without paying outrageous cable prices. I purchase internet services and have Hulu/Netflix plus the local news/weather. All that I need & more!

Good Antenna for Home Use
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Setup is easy, picture is clear, and reception is great most of the time. Not impressed with the small stand that attaches to the antenna because it's not sturdy enough for the antenna to stand up vertically as the picture on the box implies. Had to rest the antenna horizontally on a table, and need to reposition antenna periodically to maintain access. Still happy with purchase--had no TV stations before buying the antenna and now can get 6 channels without the expense of cable.

Q: QuestionI live in a mountainous area, but not remote just high elevation., Will this work in hills, woods etc., or is it "line-of-sight"?
Asked by waneiac.
- A:Answer It’s an antenna. So it’s picking up radio waves. It’ll work but the more things between you and the broadcast tower the worse the signal gets. If it’s really wooded and lots of hills might want to look in to one that mounts on the outside of the house.
