Great indoor antenna!
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The antenna itself works very good! If you live really far away from the towers then an outdoor antenna will be the way to go.I would also recommend price checking first. It was pricey at Best Buy, but if you find it cheaper and in stock nearby they will possibly do a price match.

Average
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I was looking to "cut the chord" with this antenna, unfortunately, you will need a clear sight to a window to get the reception you'd hope for. Not worth the price in my opinion.

Posted .Hi 3dmike, thank you for reaching out to us regarding our GE UltraPro Bar HD 400 indoor Amplified Antenna. We are very sorry to hear about your recent unsatisfactory experience you had with our product. Our mission is to provide complete customer satisfaction and quality products that deliver the expected performance. We would love to work with you directly to resolve the issue, so you can enjoy our products to their full potential.
Depending on your location regarding terrain, elevation, etc. and depending on the location of the transmitters for your local stations will determine in large part, the type of antenna required to pull in the stations. Both your general location and the specific area that the antenna is located can affect reception. The distance, terrain and obstacles (buildings, power lines, etc.) between you and the signal tower greatly affect the strength of the signal that reaches you. Where you locate the antenna in the room can also affect the strength of the signal that you receive. First, make sure that the antenna is fully extended on each end. This will allow the antennas dipoles to be fully extended for better reception. The antenna must be connected to the TV and connected to a power source at all times in order for the antenna to function properly. Once these steps are complete we suggest you run another channel scan. If you are still not able to access any channels, your antenna may be over amplifying the signal. We recommend that you switch the amplifier to the OFF position behind the antenna and rescan for channels again. You can use a website like www.tvfool.com to find the direction your signals are coming from and position the antenna where it is facing toward the tower, as well as, positioning the antenna as high off the ground as you can. The repositioning will allow for optimum reception.

Disappointed
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Thought this would be a great antenna but I am very disappointed. I was told this would cover a 60 mile radius but my cheap antenna actually does a better job than this one.

Works when it's next to the window...
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I tried this product on 3 different televisions and areas in the house before moving a television right next to the window. The antenna is temper mental, you can't move it and if someone sits near it- it stops working. I will continue to do research and probably replace with something better in the near future. When I called the company for assistance to make sure it was set up properly after my 3rd attempt, the customer service was not helpful and didn't seem to care if I returned the product.
