Very nice product
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. It was easy to set-up and picks up enough local stations for my use. The unit is very low profile so you don't notice it. Purchased another antenna where you place it in the window and while it works well it was more work to install so it wasn't noticeable.

Item returned
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I live in a major metroplex and wanted to take advantage of the many local channels available. After talking to the guys in store, I decided on this antenna only to find out that it marginally received more channels than my old RCA antenna. I still could not get all of the big four (ABC, CBS, FOX, and NBC), which was disappointing because I was expecting the technology to be vastly improved.

Sleek antennae
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Got the antennae for my bedroom. I get channels and that area of the house might be a black hole cause none of the devices I've tried have gotten me the same channels I have in the rest of the house. Pretty sure this antennae cost more than the one I got at Wal-Mart but it looks like a small sound bar and can easily be hidden or blend in on display without looking tacky. Just expected better reception cause it was supposed to go further but you will get channels

Good antenna
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Good antenna! Got some channels; however, due to my location I should've bought the next one up (more than 60 miles).

GOOD RECEPTION
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.SUPPOSED TO BE OMNIDIRECTIONAL. I STILL HAVE TO REPOSITION ANTENNA FOR A COUPLE OF STATIONS, IT WORKS A LOT BETTER THAN PREVIOUS ANTENNA. IT WAS ONE OF THOSE FLAT 12" SQUARE TYPES. WITH THE OUTRIGGER LEG IT SETS NICELY. I DON'T CARE FOR THE WIRE COMING OUT OF IT BUT SEEMS EASIER TO HIDE THAN MY PREVIOUS ONE.

Top contender
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Depends on your TV brand. I have it on a TCL, Element and Sharp. Better "known" TV brands get better reception with local channels. You do get a lot of unknown channels. But for the price and don't want to shed a lot especially on a paper looking antenna and something more sturdy.

Not worth it.
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This antenna is not worth the price, you are better of buying an external and spend your $$ on the installation.

Posted .Hello Stub, Thank you for reaching out to us regarding our GE Ultra Pro Bar HD 400 Amplified Antenna. We’re sorry to hear that you’re experiencing signal issues with our product. Our priority is to offer complete customer satisfaction for all our customers. As the manufacturer, we are very interested in supplying consumers with a quality product that delivers the expected performance. Anytime we hear problems encountered in the use of one of our products, we want to get involved and resolve the difficulties the best we can.
First, make sure that the antenna is fully extended on each end. This will allow the antennas dipoles to be fully extended for better reception. The antenna must be connected to the TV and connected to a power source at all times in order for the antenna to function properly. Once these steps are complete we suggest you run another channel scan. If you are still not able to access any channels, your antenna may be over amplifying the signal. We recommend that you turn off the amplifier behind the antenna and rescan for channels again. You can use a website like www.tvfool.com to find the direction your signals are coming from and position the antenna where it is facing toward the tower, as well as, positioning the antenna as high off the ground as you can. The repositioning will allow for optimum reception. You will need to rescan your channels once the antenna has been repositioned.
If the problem persists, please give us a call at 1-800-654-8483 option 1 and provide our Support Team with your ticket number 265081. We are eager to work together with you to get the best out of our product and help you with your concerns. We look forward to hearing from you.

Nice Antenna
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I had bought this for my mom for her birthday and she is happy that she can get nice quality channels. I like that a small antenna that looks sleek and nice have such a good range of reception but the only issue I have is that there is no indicator that it's on or off. But it's a must buy

||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. It claim to be 60 miles range, I live 44 miles away and I get no channels at all, no matter where I try it doesn't get any signal, I live in a second floor, clear sky no trees, no buildings around. Posted .Hi Jaime, thank you for your feedback. We are very sorry to hear about your recent unsatisfactory experience you had with our product. As the manufacturer, our mission is to provide complete customer satisfaction and quality products that deliver the expected performance.
From your description, your antenna may be over amplifying the signal. Based on your location, from the towers providing signals, your antenna might be receiving too much power causing it to miss the signal. Make sure that the antenna is fully extended on each end. Switch the built -in amplifier to OFF position located on the back of the antenna. This will allow the antenna to receive the close-range reception. You will need to scan for channels on your TV. This is a very important step. Your TV will NOT receive signals from the antenna without doing a channel scan. We recommend that you see you TV’s menu screen for this process or refer the instruction manual that came.
If the problem persists, please contact our Support team at 1-800-654-8483, press option 4 and provide them with your personal ticket # 325456. You can also email us at [email protected] and include your personal ticket number in the subject line.

Looks good. Works great.
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This is the third antenna I bought for my flatscreen HD TV and the third one is the best one. Not only does this GE ULTRA PRO BAR indoor antenna look great, it works great as well. I could not be happier with this purchase. No rabbit ears staring back at me.

Nice design, works well
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I have tried the mohu leaf prior to trying this. The salesperson suggested this and I have found this to be better than Mohu leaf in the similar range category. I live in a high risk building that doesn't allow external antennas. I get the 6 local channels and many more. Happy with the purchase
