Our priority is to offer complete customer satisfaction for all our customers. That is correct, cloudy weather can sometimes weaken the signal causing your image to be a bit distorted. Your channels will depend on the signals provided by your local stations in your area. You can click on this link to see what kind of signals are available in your location http://www.tvfool.com/, just simply click on the “Click here” and enter your zip code. You want to make sure that the antenna is fully extended on each end. This will allow the antennas dipoles to be fully extended for better reception. The antenna must be connected to the TV and connected to a power source at all times in order for the antenna to function properly. Once these steps are complete we suggest you run another channel scan. If you are still not able to access any channels, your antenna may be over amplifying the signal. We recommend that you turn off the power inserter behind the antenna and rescan for channels again. It keeps trying to read the digital channels too. So the picture is not the greatest all the time. It is good if you just want to catch up on the news.

I do like the build on this being a lower profile on the stand without ears.

In reading your review, we see that you are having issues getting more channels. We would love to work with you directly and help resolve this issue, the best we can. The number of channels you receive will depend on the signals provided by your local stations in your area. This antenna is design to receive a broadcast range of 60 miles. Obstructions from protected barriers (dry walls buildings) and terrains (hills, mountain) can affect your signal. You can use a website like www.tvfool.com to find the direction your signals are coming from and position the antenna where it is facing toward the tower. To maximize the number of channels you receive, try positioning or mounting the antenna as high as possible or near a window for best performance. Once you have located the direction of the signal, be sure to run a new channel scan on your TV in each position. This is a very important step. Your TV will NOT receive signals from the antenna without doing a channel scan.

Accessing local channels
