Here are some steps you can try out that may be helpful in fixing the voice recognition issue:
1. Reboot your Nest Audio Speaker by disconnecting the power cable from your device and reconnect the power cable.
2. Make sure your device recognizes the hotword. Say “Hey Google” to your speaker. Check if the LED dots on the top of your device spin or blink, indicating that it recognized the hotword.
3. Make sure your device recognizes the question correctly. Ask your Assistant the question again. Say "Hey Google, repeat the question" to make sure your Assistant understood you correctly. If it's still not recognizing the question, try to speak slower or try another question.
4. Adjust the hotword sensitivity of your device. If your speaker often has trouble activating when you say “Hey Google” or "Ok Google,” you can adjust how sensitive Google Assistant listens when you say “Hey Google.” by following the guide on this link: https://support.google.com/assistant/answer/9712065
Factors affecting the connectivity between your Nest Audio Speaker and mobile phone may include issues with either your Wi-Fi network and mobile phone. You may try to follow some troubleshooting steps below to further isolate the issue:

In fact these make the third pair that I have. I use them everyday to listen to YouTube Music and SiriusXM. The combination of sound quality, convenience, and price make these speakers unbeatable.

What i like about google speakers is that i can control a lot of my appliances in my house. The 3 month free youtube premium is the best they let me listen to all the music without ads. This is amazing as with this speaker i can play music all day without having to click any buttons. Im able to add alarms and timers with just my voice. The sound is rich and clear. The speaker is the perfect volume for my small room.

It has great sound that really travels at least 60 feet away from it you can hear it clearly. It is nice to be able to share playlists, my granddaughter takes over when she is there and my son can change it back to 80's hits when grandpa gets irritated. It is super fun and is surviving fine out in the heat. I just put a cover over it to keep it clean. We love it.
