Google is finally realizing that one of the biggest reasons people buy a smart speaker is to be... a speaker. First generation Google Home was a great smart device and a mediocre speaker. Now with the Nest Audio we finally have an incredible Google Assistant device with an incredible speaker. I love the sound it produces. I love how loud it gets. I love the look of it. I love how sensitive the microphones are. I LOVE the price. I was on the fence about buying another Sonos One speaker, but I'm glad I waited because this is half the price, sounds just as good, and is a way better smart speaker. Also for some insane reason you still can't cast music to Sonos. Good riddance Sonos, hello Nest Audio.
Purchased the speaker primarily to use in my bedroom with my iPad.
The sound was so good looks lie I will need to purchase a 2nd speaker to acquire a balanced sound. Which you can't get when the nest is paired with a Google Mini. One review called it the sweet spot between price and quality! Exactly right in my view.
Great sound for the price. I was looking for a new smart assistant speaker and was about a day away from getting a Sonos one (Which I really didn’t want as it does not support voice match or more than a single mic) when the nest audio was released. I was so excited to learn I could get a stereo pair of these speakers (Both with Triple Mics and VoiceMatch) for less than 1 Sonos! Now granted even the stereo pair can’t produce those full deep bass notes like a Sonos one but they can crate an insanely full soundstage for their size and cost! And if you have a google home it is super easy to integrate and pair with your other google home compatible speakers!
Great speaker with nice sound and adaptive sound that adjusts to the room to optimize sound.
The bass is not as powerful as the Google Max but it's a much smaller form factor and packs enough sound to nicely fill a room.
If you already have the older Google Home smart speaker, it's not a necessity to get this speaker. It's nice but it's not a game changer.
Overall, if you want good sound from a nice smart speaker at a reasonable price, this checks all the boxes.

I am all in for the Google Smart Speakers. I have a display or speaker in every room. When a friend complained that they missed having radio stations in their kitchen, I suggested this product. I purchased it, set it up and they couldn't be more thrilled. They like it for the radio stations, but they are learning to love it for the smarts. Also, looks good in the room and sounds great
WOW is all can say! This single speaker has amazing sound quality! It sounds way better than the Echo Studio which is $100 more! Extreme bass, perfect miss and excellent highs. I can actually hear the vocals in a song, unlike with the Studio, it sounds muffled. I can only imagine what it will sound like when paired with a second speaker for stereo sound! You would think you're listening to a huge sound system! I highly recommend!
This is by far the best smart speaker I have ever purchased for the price. I have two speakers so they are set up in stereo mode and it sound fills a room. I have the OG Google home and this has finally been retired to my basement. I loved my Google home as my personal assistant. Sure it played music but the sound was always kind of muffled. This Nest Audio is a great upgrade and if you have an OG Google Home I seriously recommend replacing with this 100$ piece of tech.

A:AnswerAside from the big size difference, Nest Audio Speaker's sound is clearer, fuller, and more natural. As good as the sound is on the Nest Mini, it just won’t compare to the Nest Audio Speaker because of its 75 mm woofer and 19 mm tweeter. You can check technical specifications of both devices here: https://support.google.com/googlenest/answer/7072284
Also, you can broadcasting messages on all of your Google Nest or Home devices. You can check this link for more details: https://support.google.com/googlenest/answer/7531913
A:AnswerYou can change the language of your Google Assistant, or add an additional language to speak to the Assistant in two languages. Changes to your Assistant's language will affect all Google Nest and Home devices linked to your account. Note: Some devices may not support all languages in all regions. (courtesy of Google)
