I have some of the older nest audio speakers and the overall tone is really nice on this. Please note: I am a musician and an audiophile. I don't like cheap speakers and I tend to be really picky. Would I say this is 100% equal to a more expensive Bose? No. Would I say it sounds really nice and punches out of it's weight class? Absolutely!

It sounds way better than the Echo Studio which is $100 more! Extreme bass, perfect miss and excellent highs. I can actually hear the vocals in a song, unlike with the Studio, it sounds muffled. I can only imagine what it will sound like when paired with a second speaker for stereo sound! You would think you're listening to a huge sound system! I highly recommend!

Good All-around speaker

For the price, it has good sound and now I'm curious about getting a 2nd one that can work together for better sound. I had a Bose 360 portable sooner which was more expensive (though wireless) and the quality is about the same. Don't expect luxury brand quality sound but I think this does a good job.
