We wanted a speaker only for our kids room and since we already have the google wifi points, we didn't need to spend the extra.
It works well, has great sound, but was a little tricky to set up with our existing Google wifi.

Room-filling sound and more sensitive to voice commands than the mini. We have one in the living room and bedroom. Mostly used for streaming music in the living room, which sounds great and has some decent bass.

Google did a fantastic job tuning this little smart speaker. It sounds absolutely incredible. I put this particular smart speaker in my daughters’ bathroom. They are absolutely enjoying it.

Well...."Sonos" feature is no more. I feel like google should compensate their customers in some way. But I purchase this for a 300sqft room, great for ambient sound. Def would need 2 to keep the room filled but one is enough to enjoy.

Upgraded one of our Nest minis with the new Nest Audio. What a difference, the sound absolutely fills the room now!
Super quick setup adding to our existing Google Home account. Will be upgrading another soon!

I bought two of these to use as my desk speakers. You can link them up on the home up and set them up to stereo. They sound great and pack a punch I'm really happy with them.

The sound is pretty good for a small room or a 1 br apt. No complaints on the sound. The issue I have is connecting to Google TV and pixel phones. It always disconnect and kind of annoying.

As a speaker it's fine. The sound is good with some decent bass for such a small speaker. But I bought it for the Google Assistant, and for that it sucks. It's so slow compared to my Alexa speaker (that's like 10+ years old). Rarely use it because it's so much easier using Alexa.
Thanks for reaching out about your Nest Audio, CassieB. While we’re glad you’ve enjoyed the great sound, we hear your concerns regarding Google Assistant. Here’s a few ways to troubleshoot and get your device running smoothly again:
1. Reboot your speaker or display 2. Make sure your device recognizes the hotword 3. Make sure your device recognized the question correctly 4. Adjust the hotword sensitivity of your device

I have become a fan of the Google Smart Home components and recently added this to our system. It works just like the Nest mini, but has a bit better sound quality due to the larger speaker components.

These speakers are awesome. They even work better as a pair. sound plenty fine for small apartment. Just don't locate too close to other sound source like tv. Makes voice commaning more difficult to hear.

Good quality and adequate upgrade over the google home 1st gen. I linked 2 of them for use in my bathroom. $200 is a lot for a bathroom speaker but it works with voice commands and I don’t have to connect my phone to some Bluetooth speaker.
