Sound is good, even for outdoor use. Decent base and clarity. Could be a little louder though, if used primarily used outside. In-doors is much better. Only own one, so unknown about paring with other speaker.

I purchased this and I love the fact it comes in a darker color. It has the same sound and is more aesthetically pleasing too :)
