There are a couple of reasons that may be causing the offline issues you are experiencing with Nest Audio. Here are some recommended steps you can try that can prove to be helpful with the issue:
- Check for possible congestion in your Wi-Fi network. Removing some of your connected devices can help free up some bandwidth space. You may then check to see if you will still experience the same connectivity issue.
- You may also check for possible sources of interference such as the thick walls and appliances in your home.
- Resetting Nest Audio is also a good idea to try out. This process will erase all data and you may need to set up your account again. To reset, check out this link: https://support.google.com/googlenest/answer/7073477

The nest is the newer version. We like it ok... It's larger so the speakers are more powerful....but the routines action is a lot slower than the original.

After syncing their lights and TV plus roku to this they found it much easier to enjoy their time out there. Once they knew what it could do and how to do it they absolutely loved it and so simple for them. It's so much easier to say hey Google turn off the lights then having to get up once your comfy and turn them off.

If looking for a speaker with features this is the one. Looking for a loud speaker? Might have to look at the others. I have mine in my office at work so I don't need the loudness.

If you're playing Nest Audio in a speaker group together with your other Google Nest speakers, we recommend changing the following settings:
- Make sure your mobile device or tablet is connected to the same Wi-Fi or linked to the same account as your Nest Audio and other speakers.
- Cast music to the group that's playing out of sync.
- Stand between the out of sync speakers (or as close to in between as you can) and adjust their volume levels so you hear them both playing at the same level.
- Open the Google Home app.
- Touch and hold your device's tile.
- Tap Settings and then Audio and then Group delay correction.
- Move the slider to the left or right until the audio goes in sync.
