They use to be good but now it can't even answer, "What is 2 + 2?". It just keeps asking random things! I'm guessing it's because the will be rolling out some paid AI that they will want everyone to pay for...because if you pay it will work, like it was supposed to when you got it normally. Just save your money. It will make you mad long before it makes you happy.

Speaker groups for Google Nest devices will continue to work once all devices in the group have been updated to the latest software. Volume and equalizer adjustments can still be controlled individually for each speaker in a group, but those adjustments cannot be made at the group level. If your nest speakers aren't able to play music as a speaker group once you move to a new home, we recommend resetting your Google Nest devices to see if it might fix the issue. Keep in mind that resetting will erase all data on your Google Nest devices, and that you may need to set them up again. I looooove my Google Assistant!!! Sometimes it doesn't always pick up my voice recognition, but 99% of the time it works flawlessly!!!

I use it at work for music and everyone loves it. I just wish the lights weren't constantly on when the Mic is disabled. I would also like to be able to stream Tidal other than through bluetooth.

I got this since I like to have music going when I am gaming and I don't really need to worry about the sound from the game. I love the quality of audio and its style. It's a great fit. I am glad I upgraded from the Google mini. Also super glad I got it half off.

For the love of God don't give Google any money. They don't stand by the products they have. The speakers don't recognize commands on the daily. Will just start speaking and will play stuff you didn't ask for. Won't turn on/off stuff like they use too. Broke

I would give it a 5 star review but it sometimes doesn't hear me to well have to raise my voice up even tho my phone or another Google assistant device can hear me from same if not further distance then I am with the speaker. Other then that thos speaker has a lot of potential and packs a lot for the price. Love the colors as well online they have will definitely buy another to have multi room music playing through out my home

Bluetooth failure

The smart speaker functions work well when connected to WiFi. When I try to use this as a Bluetooth speaker the Bluetooth drops out after 30 seconds of being connected. One of the primary Reasons I bought this was to use it as a home theater speaker when connected to my Google chrome cast via Bluetooth. When I contacted Google about this issue- I was on the phone with them for 45 minutes trouble shooting until they finally told me that this is a known issue with their nest audio speakers and that they won’t do anything about it. No refund or replacement offered. I’m so frustrated.

Hi RobG, thanks for letting us know about the issue. We're sorry to hear that the Bluetooth connection for both your Nest Audio cuts out a lot. If you're willing to try, resetting both your Nest Audio devices is a good way to try and fix the connectivity issue. Keep in mind that resetting your Nest Audio devices will erase all data and that you may need to set them up again. To reset, check on the back of your device, switch the mic off. The lights will turn orange. Press and hold the center of the Nest Audio, near the top. After 5 seconds, your device will begin the factory reset process. Continue to hold for about 10 seconds more, until a sound confirms that the device is resetting.
