    The other morning, I was at work really early when I learned there was a tornado warning in my town; my wife and kids were still asleep and I couldn't reach them by phone, so I hopped onto the Nest app, pressed the "microphone" button, spoke into it and woke everyone up that way so they could take shelter. Really, really useful for this and other reasons. (And everybody was fine!)

    The nest cam is great. My wife suffers from Alzheimer’s. I purchased the monthly service. It allows me to check on her. I also have been able to find missing items. I previously used a cam with SD card which was much slower to search. I would recommend the nest cam.
