    Is best to use with a yearly subscription I have 7 cameras it use around 1200G bits of data a month so you have to have good internet It’s better then the other systems I’ve tried But it’s more like for monitoring then security

    I’m not a fan of Nest because they hook you into the product for the service. If you have other devices it does integrate well. But the functionality is low and poor forcing you to purchase the service. Arlo Pro 2 has a much better quality cam and the service functionality is far superior. Beware that Wireless range and performance of the Nest isn't great either. it often has buffering issues. This is not ideal when you want peace of mind as a baby monitor. Go with Arlo Pro 2 for better cam, better service offering and peace of mind.

    Terrible clock. Painful to use. Makes an awful jarring electrical sound before the normal alarm starts ringing. It is an atrocious noise and apparently per the message boards it’s been an ongoing issue for 6+ months. Really ruins the experience. In addition we both have one of these clocks and unfortunately there’s only one command to wake up the clock so I can’t even adequately use the clock to set my alarm because when I speak it wakes up both my husband clock in my o’clock. This is a major flaw I would not buy this again. Skip!!

    It works great, and I wanted to keep it cause I also have the Nest thermostat, but I returned it cause there's no free video recording service. You have to pay a month fee. There are others (Arlo) that at least gives you up to 7 days of recording.

    It works well when it wants to. Sometimes when you plug it in, it does not turn on until you do it a few times. I changed the cord and I still face the same issue.

      Here are the possible causes:

      - There are physical damages on the camera and/or cables.
      - There is insufficient power to the camera.
      - The camera is turned off. Check the light status of your Nest Cam: https://support.google.com/googlenest/answer/9268073

      If the camera turns off intermittently, the camera’s schedule could be the root cause: https://support.google.com/googlenest/answer/9220484
      You can also try plugging it in to a different power outlet, or to plug another working device into the same power outlet the camera is currently connected to.

    Great picture, nice to link with Nest family of products. Bad because: 1- No two way microphone. You have to use like a walkie talkie. This would not be that big of a deal, but other products have it already. 2- Nest Aware is too expensive. I like that you don't need a separate hub connected to your router, but Nest Aware wants to charge a separate amount for each camera. Taking back and getting a Netgear Arlo Pro and sending the Nest Hello Doorbell back to Nest too as the Arlo will replace that too.

While the first subscription is full price, any additional subscriptions would be at a discounted rate. For example, if you were to choose the 5-day plan, it would be $5 for the first Nest Aware Subscription and $3 for additional subscriptions added after that. Nest

    This is the 2nd camera that I have had from next. The first was storm damaged in a hurricane. I was hoping there would be some significant upgrades but it is about the same. Adequate.

    I thought the cameras had decent quality, but I hated the app. The zoom on the screen always got in the way of pinch to zoom. I really didn't like the app design!

    It is a great camera. I love the interface of the app that you can zoom in and out easily. The downside of it is that it is a steady camera, cannot rotate. Also, the microphone is very weak. Doesn't catch the sound from far very well.

    I still have yet to get this camera going. Its not as easy to use after all. Well at least for my expectative. I havent been able to plug it in yet... Well see how it goes...

    I don’t like the cord hanging down. It can only capture a limited space. We only get it because we already paid google subscription fee

    There is a reason the price is what it is. If you have a small confined area to cover then this is the camera. If it’s needed for a big area I wouldn’t get these.

    This camera is so clear and can do so much. Took a couple of calls to set up since I had to disable my firewall. Customer service was knowledgable and answered immediately. Cameras working impeccably well with lots of features.Can select zones for alerts, motion and sound. Great night vision. I did my research and this is the camera to get. You can see live feed without the subscription but the $10/month or $100/year is worth the stored video.Second camera is half subscription cost. Don't look any further. It is wireless to the Wifi and has a 6 foot cord to the camera so don't have to worry about batteries.

    Love having this as a deterrent, but mostly use it to check on my animals during the day. Hate that you have to subscribe to get any playback, 12 hours of playback for free would be exceptional.

    Not what I thought it was. For a home security cam or nanny cam, it could work. We bought to use as a baby monitor and NOPE. Not good for that at all. Plus I was very disappointed with the resolution of the picture.
