This camera was super easy to set up. You scan the Qcode and download the app and create your account and then you can view on your phone or computer. You have to have a wireless WiFi router in order for it to work. The picture quality is great.

I have purchased this product previously, and needed additional cameras as security. I like how easy it is to set up Nest cameras, and how reliable they are to see the video feed when I am away from home.

4/5stars -1 star for paid subscription and nest app lag on iPhone7/iPad Air 2. Not suitable for outdoors. +4 stars for great 1080p picture quality. 24/7 survalance. Easy scroll via app with little lag on app. Easy to use. Easy to setup. Free 30day trial. The nest indoor works great for indoor. I used it for outside survalance. Tho it placed inside a window and to look outside 24/7. Downside it had a glare or reflection during the bright daylight and night mode doesn't work well inside the window. So I returned the unit and got the nest cam outdoor. Because I needed 24/7 survalance for the outside my home. Prob will give nest outdoor cam 4.5stars for the outdoor use for nest app lagging problem and 15ft power cord and down fault for easy access to unplug the wire that plugs into the back of cam.

We added this Nest Indoor Camera to our home security setup. This one is placed in on a window sill looking out toward our driveway and sidewalk area. It does a great job during the the daytime but the lights in the unit do cause a reflection/glare with the window pane at night. However, if the outdoor motion lights are triggered, the camera does pick up whatever activated the lights. I knew this might be an issue from the beginning but the reason I chose this option is because the temperature rating for the outdoor cameras and doorbell does not go low enough for Northern MN where we can easily have days of -20° and below temps.

This system was so easy to set up. The cameras are sturdy and the images are great quality. I bought another one for me and I bought a set for my husband to use at his office.
