I decided to purchase the nest as I already had the Nest Thermostat x2 and loved them. I did look at other cameras as well but I like the look of these as well as the quality of the picture and range. I really like the alerts, recording and voice features as well as the remote monitoring - I can see it from my phone. I bought the interior packet of 3 and am thinking of purchasing the exterior cameras as well.

We use this camera to watch our summer home when we are not there. I have the app set up so I get a text when movement is noted in our other home. Although I have an alarm this gives me eyes on my property when I am not there

My wife and I have been looking for a baby monitor for our newborn. She was leaning towards a dedicated baby monitor with a screen but I always felt the video quality wouldn't be there. We finally decided to purchase the Nest Cam. Video quality is great, but you need to have a decent high speed internet package. The sound through the camera isn't that great but does feature two way communication. Overall we are happy with the product.

Great camera, dead simple to set up. You need the Google home app to set it up, but after that easy process. bought it to keep an eye on my house with my children and the dog, so far so good. Keep in mind there is a monthly fee if you want to keep recordings in the cloud. Different tiers, but could be affordable if you take the 5-day plan which is about $5 per month.

The quality of picture and response time is great! Works great with Google Home. Too expensive for add on features.
