I use ADT for monitoring my home but found these cameras to be an excellent addition. The build quality is excellent. The installation is relatively quick, assuming you have sufficient WiFi signal strength. I have a relatively large home and even with a new AC3200 router had some problems with signal strength. The picture quality is very good but not quite what I was expecting for 1080i resolution. Having used the camera now for several weeks I am please with its performance. Be aware that if you connect a number of products to your WiFi network and your router is "older" you may need to upgrade your router to avoid instabilities. I had this problem when I first installed my three cameras. However, with computers, tablets, phones, printers, appliances and electronics I have over 20 items connected to the router. I was due for an upgrade. The cameras were the final straw. Nest Aware is a nice addition.

I already have several Nest devices and camera and this was just another to add. So easy -- really plug and play. And with this one, I move it around...from my garage to my kid's area, no matter the need I have.

I replaced an old D963 dlink camera with this new one. Like night and day. This is clear video. Glad that I could just add a camera to my existing nest account. Now one as app for three cameras and two thermostats

I work in New York and I am able to communicate, instruct my kids through a small awesome camera.

Incredibly easy to install and set-up. I love alerts. We installed two in our main home and plan to install at least two in our winter home. We still need to figure out the dog thing, but it is kind of fun to look in on her when away. I'd highly recommend the Nest Cam's.

Love love love this camera. I bought this single camera to complete the 3 cameras I brought earlier. My set is now complete. I would recommend Nest security cameras to anyone. It gets the job done!!

Alerts me when there's people in view when I'm not in the house and uses chromecast to display on my TV. Works really well!

The drop cam is easy to install and It has very good pictures.

This is my 5th Nest Camera. Actually 1 Dropcam and 4 Nest Cam.Simole set up and operation are a dream.Setup took but a few minutes and I was operational. The recent app upgrade took away my disappointment in the previous version making it much faster and easier to navigate.

This was a decent camera, but I did side by side comparisons with the Circle 2 camera I purchased at the same time, and the picture quality of the Circle 2 blew away the quality of the Nest. So while Nest seemed like a decent camera, I'd recommend the Circle line of products, for picture quality, and account features.

I bought this camera to use in my sons bedroom since he is only 2 years old and after checking a few cameras even baby cameras this one was the best option and to be hones I’m very please with the image the sound and how it works the my phone and tablet

The camera is decent, but not amazing. Even at a discounted price for the holidays, I still don't think it was a great value. The resolution is good, but not amazing. I know this is dependent on wifi strength in my house so I wont knock the camera for that. In summary, I like the camera, I think it does a good job, but it is not 5 stars.

We purchased this camera so that we could keep an eye through our iPhones on my 96 year old bedridden mother. It worked perfectly and we were able to observe her any time of the day or night. A must if you can not be there all the time.

The camera is functioning as advertised. We are using this to look after an elderly parent and it's helpful to check on things while at work. We plan on purchasing additional cameras to get more coverage within the house. Was a very fast and easy setup.

Out of several video camera brands that I have tried, this is the only one with very easy to use software (for setup) and reliable hardware. A friend who worked for 30+ years as an IT person choose this one and I was impressed how easy it was to set up and maintain.

But there are better out there. Very clear picture on the app. One of my cameras goes offline often so that's annoying. I do like how I can tell my dog to get off the furniture while I'm at work. I also don't like how I have to pay a monthly fee to use playback. And I have more problems with the app since I don't pay the monthly fee.

Works seamlessly with the rest of my Nest products. The video quality is great. I have been using one as a baby camera too which provides much better image quality compared to other baby cameras we have tried.

Camera has nice HD and the set up was straightforward. But don't buy it from Best Buy as their return policy is 15 days. So if you don't set it up right away you have very limited time to determine if you want to keep it.
