These cameras are a must have. Great quality day and night.

We got doorbells and this camera. The doorbells blew out our transformer, so returned the camera as well. Had a good impression on the camera (though I think Google is a little too much in your face---this camera+video+monitoring seemed a little more intrusive than I was comfortable with)

So easy to set up and it just works which is amazing

We had a couple bumps in the road with the installation but Best Buy got them ironed out for us and we thank them for standing behind their products. We have recommended them to quite a few family and friends. One family member is changing over to these because of the clarity and monthly fee is a lot more reasonable through Nest Aware options.

The camera works great, I love how you can scroll through the timeline and see everything that has happened in the last 10 day.

The only item I would mention is the cabling for the camera is over 24'-0" in length. You may want to consider that when purchasing. I resolved the close outlet problem in our case by buying a White Electrical Junction Box to place the extra cable in. I located it next to the camera and it looks fine. Great Product just wish Nest had different cable lengths.

Nest has clearly positioned themselves in the "Apple" lane of the smart home. That is: you pay a premium but get hardware that is beautiful, well-packaged, and is easy to setup and use. From a hardware-perspective, this camera is 5-stars, from unboxing, to linking with the QR code to your account, to the mounting hardware, everything works well and looks great. However, as with Apple and the iCloud, the subscription options are too pricey for what they provide and escalate quickly with multiple cameras. One issue that should be rectified in future iterations is that in order to wire this through a wall, you will need a 1 inch (!) hole to be drilled in your house due to the size of the power adapter. Otherwise, the hardware was well-thought out and executed. The camera has great clarity day and night with the ability to choose streaming quality (e.g. 1080, 720), and the motion detection works very consistently. The Nest app works well mostly, and gives you many options for scheduling the camera on and off as well as viewing the live feed, updates, and talking back if needed. The major downside that has me deducting one star is the subscription service which, though optional, is required if you want any useful recording of video or screenshots beyond the past three hours. Hopefully, as competition rises they will be forced to lower the costs ($10/month for first camera, then $5 each for 2+) or provide cheaper options. Overall, an excellent security edition to our burgeoning smart home!

Really happy with these cameras so far. Wanted a way to monitor the kids and dogs in the back yard primarily, but the 2-pack was so cost effective that we ended up doing that and installing one in the front as well. If you have easily accessible outlets these will be a breeze to install. The app works great as well.
