This is a fantastic camera. I have several Nest cameras inside my house and I wanted to use he same App to watch all my cameras. So this was a no brainer. I also use the Nest App to control heating/cooling in my house so it's so convenient to have all in the same App. Installing this was really simple with their great instructions and instructional video on their website. I'm not the best handyman and even I was able to install it with all the hardware they provide. It works great. I can't recommend Nest products enough. Fabulous.

The Nest Cam's for outdoor use are fantastic. You can decide who gets notifications if their is activity spotted outside. And can set up mic use as well. Set up is easy. You only need wifi and 110v power outlet to connect and your done.

Can't say enough about nest cams. The video and audio are excellent. The range of motion is extremely far and the camera angle is very wide. The camera sends me a text or email when it notices motion with a snapshot . I can check on my house at any time and can even give delivery personnel instructions when they are at my door. My wife and I liked it so much that we bought a second for the backyard I spent $1500 on a popular system and had the security company pick it up a week later because the video cameras were horrible. Nest cam is the way to go.

Camera was easy to install and it possibly saved my 2 year old grandchild's life. We bought this camera to keep an eye on our pool and my grandchild figured out how to pull up the baby gate and get out of the doggy door. Camera caught him going out to the pool and I was able to alert my daughter who ran out there and grabbed him. It's a great camera, especially for the price, and I definitely recommend if you have clever children and a pool!

This camera actually out performs all of my others. The night vision is pretty clear even at a distance. We've already referred back to recorded video from our trial period so the subscription option for 10 days of access was great.

I really like the nest cameras. They have great pictures clarity during the day. The night vision is pretty good too, but I find the visual clarity is much better with some level of outdoor lighting near or around the camera range. The apps work good unless the wifi signal gets bogged down, then there could be hesitation, but they rarely go offline. If/when the internet breaks the connection, they reconnect on their own. I love being able to watch what’s going at home when away.

After buying our new house we knew we wanted to get some more security so we bought the 2 pack for the front and backyard and we're very pleased. If you're looking for some better detail I'd probably go with the more expensive version but these are still great. We connected them to our Nest Home and we can see the backyard and front simultaneously and get notifications of any activity. The backyard camera even tells me if my dogs are barking!! Definitely a fan!

Nest products are user friendly and high quality in terms of pictures and videos. Cost very little if you need additional video space. Highly recommend Nest...definitely beats other brands out there. I tried 3 different products.

These nest cameras are top of the line. Work flawless and are easy to install. Only downside is to pay for storage.

I put tis camera outside my front door and can see clearly all the way to the street. I can see exactly who is approaching and even talk to them without opening the door. Which is good when my teenage daughter is home alone.

This camera has a great resolution, easy to set up with simple instructions. The only adjustments you may need to do is adjust wifi conection (if its too far away from your router) other than that it's pretty simple and easy.

I've been waiting for Nest to make an outdoor camera for a long time and it was worth the wait. Excellent quality, beautiful design, and easy to install. Watch out when installing, I could not find the wall plate in the box and even returned to the store where 5 employees opened up another package and no one could find it. It was magnetically attached to the back of another piece and the sticker identifying it was on the wrong side - so if you don't know to look for it attached to something else you'll be wondering where it is.

OK, I looked at a load of reviews, checked out cameras installed by friends, and this one seemed to be the most versatile. The app on my phone is simple to use. It was very easy to configure, and there are more features to access if you log-in using a desktop computer (to configure the zones in the picture - movement in a designated part of the picture will trigger an alert to my phone). Also, you can record in 1080p, 720p or standard definition. Just remember, 1080p recording will require a pretty high broadband connection.

It does exactly what it promises, we built a new home and wanted some extra security, the Nest Cam has been the perfect solution for us. The video quality is outstanding, especially at night, and the sensitivity to motion is incredible , a moth flying by sets it off. We have more than 15 smart home devices installed in our new home and the nest and nest cam by far have been the most reliable for connectivity and delivering on their promises. Extremely easy to set up, works as advertised, my experience has been exceptional!

Best item on the market. Why get a rechargeable camera or a wired camera when you can get the Nest camera that lets you know if there’s any motion or sound or a person spotted in the cameras view! I was able to see someone walking on my property trying to break into my shed and got the alert to my phone. Called the cops sent the video of the intruder and they sent him to jail with evidence of my camera.

I bought these about a month ago because I had a nest thermostat and doorbell and wanted everything in one app. The installation of it took some work but they do a really good job of making the steps easy to follow and the digital setup is a snap. The camera images are very good and overall I've been happy with how they come through online and on my app. They also work great with the Nest Aware that you can sign up for and get notifications. However, because of how the camera lens is (the viewing angle) and the fact that you have to place them underneath something to avoid hot sunlight (which is a problem for me in the Texas summers), I placed them in high spots under the roof covers and the images seem far away. The good thing is that with the high res you can zoom in and usually see what you need but still things seem far away. You get great coverage of the area you are looking at but things seem far away. A trade-off of all these cameras, I guess. Also, the audio has worked well but one time I was talking to my mother on one of them via my phone and she could hear me on the camera but I couldn't hear her. Maybe a one time thing but it was weird nonetheless. So, if you have Nest stuff, I would really consider this camera as it has been working for me but maybe do some research on other cameras and how their images/video stack up.

I have been using the cameras for a month. I bought it for the ease of installation, easy to use software and the notification and reasonable price to store video in the cloud. I got all of this and a great camera!

This camara is great, quality, easy of installation and easy of use. The app makes it simple to view past and live footage. It doesn't hurt that it intergrates with the nest thermostats. The only downside which is minor I guess is that I had to drill a sizable whole into my exterior wall to pass the wire through. I wanted a more secure set up so I elected to run the cable inside but because the connector is a bit large I had to drill a large whole. Either way I think this camera is the best option out there.
