Good but not the best

Owned for 1 month when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Cameras work good just dont like that they dont record the activity, only captures it like a photo. Also only captures activity 6 hours at a time. So if something happens over night you cant see it Ever. Only the last 6 hours. Considering different cameras.

So easy to use.

These cameras are a lifesaver. Now I get notices on my phone if there is activity within each camera's range. I can talk to them live and I signed up for Nest Aware so I can go back ten days of activity recordings. Peace of mind is worth the price.

Mixed feelings

Also you need a monthly/yearly subscription to their cloud service... per camera! It takes a lot of bandwidth. Other than that it's very user friendly, due to the magnetic base you can easily adjust the angle of view.

So simple

You need to drill a rather large hole 7/8" if you want to run your cabling into your house. Other than that, I don't mind paying the subscription fee in order to get 10 days of cloud storage. Video quality is great and they keep improving their app.
