Came with everything you need to mount camera, route power cable, not to mention the power cord is plenty long enough to mount it wherever you need it to be. Literally took me like 5 minutes to set it up.

I’m vested in the best ecosystem and my cameras were easy to install and sync with the nest app. The app has all my thermostats, door bells and cameras. Quality of the video quality is okay, but no crystal clear. The zones you can set to disable movement notifications doesn’t work well.

Video quality issues can be affected by congestion in your Wi-Fi network. We recommend removing some of your connected devices to free up your bandwidth. You can then check if you will still encounter the same video quality issues with your Nest Cam Outdoor. Once you verify congestion, we recommend contacting your Internet service provider to test your bandwidth and upgrade it if needed.
Here are some tips to help fix issues with the Activity Zone feature for your Nest Cam Outdoor:
- Keep foreground and background activity in mind. If you’d like to receive a notification only when the door opens, set the Activity Zone higher up on the door so that a person walking in front of the door will not trigger an alert.
- Create small and selective Activity Zones. A big Activity Zone will notice a lot of activity. In general, the smaller and more precise the Activity Zone, the more accurate your camera’s alerts will be.
- Don't overlap Activity Zones. If you overlap two or more Activity Zones, you’ll only receive a notification for the Activity Zone where the activity first occurred.
- You can also create an Activity Zone and set alerts to only happen when there’s activity outside the zone.

incredible cameras, though pricey

I actually wish I had installed these things years ago. Note that the cameras are actually pretty pricey, and don't forget about the monthly fee. But if you're looking for a camera that works beautifully, this is it.

I like being able to see each camera from both my PC as well as my mobile devices. I can even log onto the Next website from any source and view each camera. 30 day cloud recording available for $10/month first camera and $5/month for each additional camera works very well. Great color too!

Ended up buying a 2nd router to get a strong enough signal to other side of house. Nest App is probably the best part of the system. Be prepared to sign up for unlimited internet from your provider if you have multiple cameras as each camera can upload about 300 GB a month on highest setting.
