After trying 5 outdoor camera's , this exceeded my expectation. Had the largest angel , best microphone easiest setup, you can zoom in and highlight and zoom in to a specific area just amazing quality. Only downside is for a the bells and whistles subscription based

We left Ring due to their price and the quality of what you got for the money. With the Nest cameras they were a little more expensive but have way better quality in videos and audio. Wouldn’t go back to Ring.

Although, we've purchased a few Nest items for ourselves, we decided share with others. Picked one of these up for my dad as a Christmas gift and he loves it. A little extra security for the front of the house to compliment his alarm system.

Love Nest I have used other cameras and I rate Nest the best I have ever used. It was recommended to Me a couple of years ago by a Best Buy employee. Cost a little more but they are excellent and easy to set up.

After I bought the camera I had to buy a wireless range extender thing (another 80 bucks) then a bigger ladder for installation (another 200) now 10 a month for data storage. A lot more than the initial 200 investment! The camera is great though...

I had already owned an interior drop cam for a year and liked it. But this one works even better. Very stable and very few false alerts. Like the auto shift to night time mode. Love notifications to my Apple Watch. It even shows a real time screen shot on my Watch!!!!

I like my Nest cameras. For the price paid, they do the job. Doing the initial connect up to Wifi took a little more work than I expected, and the night vision aspect isn't quite as good as I hoped, but again, for the price, they're really good. I'll purchase more down the road.

Great price and nice to be able to talk to unknown visitors without opening the door or when we are not home! The two-way communication works well and we can even check on our pets and talk to them...

Overall great product. I have had this camera for approximately 6 months and find that I receive less notifications for things such as cars driving down the street, which I appreciate. Additionally, clips are easy to save and email/text for sharing.

These things work really well, both with day and night viewing. Fun to capture what's going on in the off hours. Helpful. Google's account setup and nagging is annoying, but what's new?

I love these cameras so much for the up to date live view and history but it does take a toll on your internet. I had to purchase a range extender for one of the cameras which helped. Also these camera go offline A LOT but reconnect quickly afterward.

Purchased this to watch my kids play in the backyard. The view is amazing. The volume for the two way talk is to low for for the kids outside, there is no way to turn it up. I can hear them loud and clear.

This camera is great. The resolution is awesome. It has a wide angle for a wide ranging view. We will purchase more for other locations at the house. Speaker works well also. Can talk and listen.

These cameras have been the best purchase for my new home. They cover a wide range and are able to review old footage without using a DVR. Although they aren’t the cheapest, I would recommend them to anyone

Excellent product, in my opinion the best feature is the offsite continuous recording. Most offer motion recording, but you usually miss part of the event. I can also use to locate other things or check certain times. Highly recommend, must get the cloud recording to reach full value.

Great addition to my security cameras. Excellent distance and brightness, even at night when the lights are off. Easy to setup and integrates well with my Nest indoor cameras. Would be nice to have a darker color (gray or black), so they don't stand out so much.

It was easy to install outside. Trying to get it on my nest hub has been not so easy. I guess I just don't know how to do it. Will keep trying. But the picture is good on my tablet in day and night.

We use our cameras to watch our dogs and of course watch our doors and yard for security. It’s not an incredibly high resolution video feed, but it does the job! We subscribe to Nest Aware for the home so we can have 24-7 surveillance and stored data.

This is my third Nest security camera. I have two indoor cameras. On top of that I have 5 Nest Protect smoke/CO alarms and a Nest Thermostat. I enjoy those products and this one is no different. Yes, the camera's power cable is exposed, but if you follow Nest's recommendations and be smart about it, then this cable should be hard to located and cut. I don't want to have to worry about batteries. I need my camera to work 24/7 without fail. Setup was a breeze. A lot easier than I thought. I was able to mount the camera under an eve and route the power cable neatly to the power outlet thanks to the cable clips. The strong magnets hold everything in place and allow for easy adjustment of the camera as well. Adding the Nest Cam Outdoor to my account was just as easy. I was up and running in less than an hour. The video stream is clear. The night vision is spectacular, as it lights up my entire front yard, which is decent sized. I love the new eyesight feature, being able to scrub through the day very quickly. I also like how it detects people and shows you a thumbnail. Overall this is a great camera and adds a lot of value to my home automation system. Yes, it costs money for 10 or 30 days of video history. I'll gladly pay the $200/year for all three of my cameras if it means the safety and security of my home and family. If you want quality service, you need to pay for it. Bottom line: if you love Nest and their indoor cameras, you will love this as well. No more pointing an indoor camera out the windows for me.

Got the Nest Outdoor Camera after returning Arlo Wire Free Camera. Only negative about the Nest is, a subscription needed to get the most out of the product. This is camera records 24/7 video, the Arlo only records when motion is detected. Nuff Said!
