Bought this camera to look at my dogs while they are outside to make sure they don't get into anything and it works great! I can check on them while at work or at home from my phone! Also can speak to them through the camera and can hear them from my phone.

Owned several years. Before Google it operated well but after Google it was dropping signal randomly at all hours of the day and night. Have a fast internet connection and even upgraded to mesh router. At the same time, no problem with Arlo connections during same time period. Ended up replacing with more Arlo Pro Cams with no connection problems in same locations. Since added several indoor Blink Mini Cams with no connection problems. Another downside is $50/yr for each device. Not bad if you only own 1 but if you have 6-8, too expensive!

We love the Nest camera system! We have one installed in the front of our home and the rear. Being able to receive alerts to our phones 24/7 each time the camera sees activity is very reassuring especially when we are not home!

Great cameras for a home user. The only downfall, their online storage, which is your only option, is expensive. 100$/Yr for the first camera for 10 days of online storage. Each additional camera is 50$. I think this is pretty sharp expense. Lower the price of the online storage and I will give it a 5 star.

Purchased the cameras and have them covering my front and back yard currently. The nest services don't allow anything to surprise you! Alerts pop up directly onto your phone and you are instantly able to review your video stream via cellphone. Instantly!

I really like the setup process, but had some issues with reliability in terms of staying connected to wifi. I often get 5-10 notifications that my camera is disconnected, only to hop on shortly thereafter. I experimented with moving the wireless router closer, but still getting intermittent cutouts.

Exceeded my expectations, actually ended up buying 4 of them so my entire homes' perimeter is covered. I did end up signing up for the 10 day 24/7 surveillance history and all the benefits that come with it like home/away assist, scheduling, etc.

Easy to set up already have nest products so i wanted to keep everything the same only issue I had was it has tobe plugged in had to drill a hole threw the side of my house to plug in

they are ok, no batteries that’s what i like about them.. i had trouble with changing wifi settings on one, i had to get help from google to troubleshoot, with no lucky, they sent me a replacement, lucky for me it was still covered, overall works good for me

Nest products tend to be a little more expensive than competitors, but they work well. Glad we bought these instead of others. Hardware quality is great and software is very easy to use, especially if you’re not so tech-savvy.

After trying a few different wifi cameras I have to say that these Nest Cams are the better choice. They do require an electrical outlet but in the long run you wont have to worry about the headache of watching for and replacing low batteries.

They are very clear. The one thing I noticed is that in the Android platform the voice to speak to people is very low. On the iOS platform it’s a little louder just enough to hear. The volume is not adjustable on either OS. Other than that they are ok.

It's very comforting being able to check outside if I hear a noise without having to go to the door of the window. And I can keep track of any activity that's going on around the house.

Camera kept losing WiFi connection, when it’s working it was good

I was debating between these and the new outdoor iq cameras. I'm completely satisfied with my purchase of these. Getting 2 for not much more than one of the other. These cameraa are awesome and have every feature you could need

I originally purchased another camera system that was wireless, but it would lag too much before recording or not record at all. I returned that system to Best Buy and bought the Nest system. It was easy to set up and it has continuous recording!

I held out for this even though there were others already on the market b/c I like UI and easy connectivity of their indoor cameras. It works just as well and the all in one app can't be beat.

Exactly what we were looking for in an outdoor camera system. Easy to install and use! Only downside we've experienced is occasional random disconnecting from wifi (everything is still working they just randomly disconnect).

Nest finally releases a camera that is suppose to be outside and it honestly feels a little faster than indoor camera, also has more than enough cable length and wall attachments and anchors.

These are the best ones to get in the non-NVR/traditional surveillance camera style. Amazing value, app and system runs super smooth. Planning on buying more soon.
