Fairly easy to set up. Would rate a 5 star except that it goes off line several times a day. Good picture with detail even at night.

Camera is clear and easy to setup. Installation is easy and piece of cake to control from your phone.

I did a ton of research before purchasing. I love the long cord that it comes with. I love the clarity of the pictures for the most part (night vision too blurry to read license plate/make of vehicle that egged my vehicle while driving past a week after installation). I love the alerts and app. Installation and set up was easy for the most part. I wish the app had a pause feature while previewing the footage. It is slightly annoying to get an alert every time a car drives past as I didn't realize that the camera would pick up the road (About 40 feet away?). I have no outdoor plug-ins so I had to drill thru my brick house. That made me uneasy enough, but the cord that is required to go in your house or building, in order to prevent someone from just walking up and unplugging the camera, is about an inch in diameter. So it had to be a BIG hole drilled. I think that could've been better designed. Had my dad not done that for me, I'm not sure I could've installed this camera without professional help. Now I have about 7 feet of cord raveled up and hanging out next to the huge hole in my wall that still needs made aesthetically pleasing. Not sure what to do with all that cord. Overall, I would buy it again as my complaints are small and more of personal preference. Other cameras are battery operated, live feed only, grainy video, very short wire/cord, or expensive subscription fees to counter the cheaper camera prices. I think this is the best quality for price with the best features.

Very good night vision, the only draw back is the camera must be plugged into an electrical socket and a subscription is needed after one more if you want to review history

Be careful purchasing this camera, because you will need a second, and third, and fourth and seventh lol. These things are awesome, you can magnet them all over if you dont feel like putting screws in and have a super clear picture that works rain or shine (unless you lose power). Obviously, would buy again

Nice cameras. Long cord able to reach my outlets and very very easy setup. App is nice and detects when I'm home or when I'm away. Motion detector is excellent. Detects motion 3 seconds prior and notifies me. The only thing that could be better is obvious pricing and when I speak through the camera app, I cannot hear the person on the other end. Other than that, it is excellent camera!

Easy setup. Picture quality and ease of use within the Nest app is a breeze and very customizable. Be sure to have your power source mapped out ahead of time. I installed an outlet in my attic specifically for these cameras so I could run the wire up thru the soffit and not have to look at cabling. Camera installation went like clockwork.

Best products are top tier in price and performance. The Outdoor Cam is more solid that initially thought. Installation was a breeze. Box comes with everything you need.

The Google set up was incredibly easy. Had them working in minutes. So far, they have performed well and I can access them easily from anywhere. I was hoping for a slightly clearer picture when zoomed in. Overall picture is very good but it gets pretty grainy when you try to zoom in on details. Also, I wish the software allowed for sharing of individual cameras instead of having to share the whole home.

These cameras do a great job of monitoring, perfect for a vacation home away from home. Pictures and sounds are clear, and alerts can be customized to notify for detections of sound, motion, people, etc. A nice way to stay on top of happenings while you are away, including weather and security monitoring. Highly recommend for all your surveillance needs!

hands down best camera system ever only one wire to connect to power and the app does the rest, easy to setup . as long as you have the right tools, the installation is easy you just have to know where you want to run the power wire too and you might need power cable extensions if the reach is too far from where you are mounting the camera.

We decided to use the nest cam as our baby monitor and it works great. Seamless integration with Nest app and the outdoor version just looks nicer.

The trickiest part is running power to it (in the attic) but once it's connected it's easy set up. The app alerts you and can send an email when the cameras have detected anything .... clarity is amazing ... zoom in function ... ability to hear and speak through the cameras is great .... only downfall is the speaker on the camera cannot be heard unless your standing close to it other than this ... this camera is great

These cameras are very easy to install and have great picture quality. They also have a built in microphone. I paired them with my app which also controls my HVAC.

I love this camera. I put it in my barn to watch one of my sheep that was expecting lambs. It works with a fairly low wifi signal. Instead of going out to check on her every two hours in the middle of the night in the winter in Maine, I could just look on my phone or iPad. Works great in the dark as well. Also has audio so I can listen to them. It was worth every cent.

I bought more Nest Outdoor Cameras even for indoor use because of the quality and ease of use. I like how the camera itself attaches to a magnetic mounting piece that is mounted to the wall; it is a neat and easy way to position the camera just exactly how you want it and it won't budge!

Nest makes high quality camera. I can see the stream at pitch dark. The only con is their subscription service. They cost a lot in the long term. Given that storage costs are dead cheap they are charging customers at a premium. You should definitely think about that before purchase. As there is no point in keep the camera when there is no recording available. They got that and charging customers a premium price.

Tbh, the packaging really leads one to believe there is just a single camera here, with pictures taken from different angles for effect. To my surprise (and would have been yours as well if you didn’t read this review/spoiler), there are actually two cameras in the package. They BOTH work exactly as you’d expect. Great picture, easy setup. Would recommend!

I needed an outdoor camera option for my garage interior and front door. I’ve used the Nest DropCam in my home and prefer their cameras because the video is encrypted at the camera before being sent over the internet. These cameras worked EXACTLY as expected. I receive motion and person notifications, and the mic/speaker work really well with the Nest App. Highly Recommended!!!

Over priced but good solid cameras. Easy set up & operation. Perfect for anyone that likes as few hassles as possible. Picture is excellent & app functionality is great. Only downside for some would be that these cameras need to be plugged in to an electrical outlet at all times. For me this is a + because I never have to worry about charging the battery.
