I love that I can see everything from my phone in Live mode. I’m alerting as soon as a person is spotted and other activity. Easy to install and easy to use.

I have installed this product in two different locations and it works. Easy to set up and get going. Only drawback is a costly subscription if you go for that.

I have surveillance cameras around my house and I wanted to add two more cameras that would send me (movement) notifications. My friend recommended that I check out Nest Cameras, which turned out to be the best investment I have made in camera choices. The installation and set up was easy and easier to to set up the app and begin receiving notifications. I highly recommend this camera - they are amazing.

This is a great camera to place near the front door so you know when the mail is delivered to your house or you know when your kids Come home from school.

Sure it's probably more expensive than most security cameras, but similar to apple, if you have a lot of Nest products, this fits in well to the ecosystem.

this is a well packaged camera that I've used to record everything that comes by my front door. I love that it records 24/7 and is not operated by batteries or by motion. It just detects everything and I love it. It marks everything it detects on a timeline that I view online or on my phone and it's amazing. I love the design and the simplicity of navigating the Nest website. Really well done!

We bought these initially for my mom's house as we had concerns over her mobility and safety [she was adamant she would not move in with anyone]. When she passed, I put them on my place where they are today. I use them to watch the front and back areas and entrances. They work great and in all types of weather. The clarity of the picture is great. There are two issues I have with them and they are minor and one is not the problem of the camera but you might need to be aware. First, they are sensitive so be prepared to get notices of motion and check to see a wasp is enamored with the camera and is trying to mate with it or something. Also late at night my neighbor uses his brights on his car when trying to park and when the beam hits the shrubs the camera sees this as motion. The second issues is the reliability of your internet connection. My old internet provider sucked and the signal strength fluctuated wildly. Sometimes this resulted in my camera going offline as often as 20 times in a 12-hour period. That problem disappeared when I switched to a new provider.

We wanted to feel safer and keep our eye out for packages (and Porch Pirates) so we bought this camera. First though, we bought the Google Nest Doorbell camera BEFORE realizing our doorbell faces inward and it would cost us at least $150 to have an electrician relocate the doorbell to an outward facing position. That was after we called Google's people to install it, only to hear they don't relocate doorbells. (So then what do they do, b/c it ain't that hard to install?) Anyway, we returned it and got this. We puzzled on where to set it up, and luckily it worked that we it stuck magnetically in a convenient spot. Then some work to screw in the pieces to hold the cord in place. It's not a no-brainer or will work easily anywhere since you need to plug this into an outlet. Think and plan ahead, unlike us!! The video is very good (I think we signed up for a paid monthly plan, which I don't like, but luckily it's only about $7/mo and I guess we need it or else what's the point if you can't review stored video?) in the day or night time. The audio is almost too sensitive. Getting alerts on our phones for birds chirping is kind of annoying. We're supposed to be able to talk to someone at the door through the camera, but we can't make that work, so it's very frustrating. And it's not like I'm going to take it all down just for that, so they got me there.

We tried these out and loved the features. Easy to talk back & forth, good quality video. 2 issues.... 1) the hardwire makes it difficult to install and connect to power in the right places outside our house. We were going to need an electrician 2) it’s expensive to buy plus you need to pay the monthly service. We ended up returning and we’re going a different route.

I have professionally installed security cameras in other areas, and the nest camera is as good, if not better. It was very easy to install, the picture is clear, and I like getting an email when it notices movement. We are not subscribing to the service because we are mainly using the camera to observe weather conditions at a vacation home. I highly recommend the nest outdoor camera.

Great cameras and love the UI for the nest cams. Easier UI than the ring camera. Quality of the recordings is good. I was concerned about having to clean the camera regularly but they have been installed for 3 months and picture quality is still great. A little on the expensive side though.

We were looking into adding cameras to our front and back yard and couldn't be happier with the Google Nest system. We already had other Nest products so it was super easy to activate, and the installation was very easy. Great video quality, love the night vision. We did opt for the Nest aware which extra.

Bought 2 of these to cover the front and back of my house. They work great with clear he vision during the day and not too grainy night vision. Install and config was a breeze, and they integrated seamlessly with my other nest products. My only grip: the service fee is too high for just recording video.

I love nest & everything they have accomplished.. the nest outdoor doesn’t upset.. the install process was super easy.. only took me about 15 min..

These were easy to install and get connected. I especially like the notifications from the nest app whenever they detect movement with a capture of what it detected. The only drawback was the length of the power cable. In some situations it can be too long and so you end up having to wrap the extra power cable. I also recommend getting some additional wire staples for longer runs.

The image is clear and defined, no regrets purchasing this camera, I have three of them in different places of the house. Easy access via phone app.

They're good cameras with great video quality, and they'll do what you need. However, expect to pay for their monthly service, which costs are per camera. It's only a few bucks a month for 5 day video history and all the other feature, but I feel those should be included in the camera itself. Also, I ended up having to get a WiFi extender to reach the camera, as it kept going offline due to dropped connection.

The cameras are very nice. Great picture. Easy installation. Love that it continuously records with the nest aware subscription. Having trouble with lag and the cameras going offline. I think it’s our new modem and router combo. Still troubleshooting the issue. But overall great camera. I’m hoping once the network issue is fixed, I would love them even more.

I needed cameras to review outdoors. The camera were easy to install and outstanding picture quality. The installation was very easy and combined with the other cameras and Hello doorbell the Nest Aware subscription is a great value.
