Its mounted on a magnet is a joke plus the power cord comes out the middle of the camera . Everything keeps camera running even with sound off . Its being returned. Not impressed at any of it

You have to be very selective about where you put it outside, and I worry about the heat and sunlight damaging it after awhile (and it's an OUTDOOR camera). I do like that I can control it in the same app as my Nest thermostats and indoor camera.

We suggest the following steps that might be helpful with this issue:
- Restart the camera, unplug the power adapter and wait for 10 seconds before plugging back in. You should see a solid green light on the front of your camera if it’s connected to your home Wi-Fi network.
- Plug your Nest camera into a different power outlet to rule out power issues.
- Perform a factory reset on your camera. If you have a Nest Aware subscription, make sure to save any important clips before performing a factory reset. Then pair it back to your Nest app. Check this link to see how to perform reset: https://support.google.com/googlenest/answer/9252162

Camera is ok if you have a place to plug it in

I didn’t know that this camera needed to have plugs nearby....therefore wires showing!
