    I ordered a 2 pack out door camera and we can only get one camera to work. I have been chatting with a google rep for 2 hours to see if I have a faulty camera.

    This thing broke after about a year of being outside under the awning of the roof. Worked good until it broke

    I had these cameras mounted and they just completely stopped working after just 1 month. Impossible to get a call back from Nest.

      Video quality issues are oftentimes related to spotty connection or weak signal, we suggest checking your Wi-Fi network to see if your bandwidth is congested. This may happen if you have too many devices connected on the same bandwidth or if your network package is not enough to handle the data traffic on the network.

      Meanwhile, the camera’s video quality settings can be adjusted to have sharper and more detailed footage which uses more internet bandwidth.
      - On the Nest app home screen, select the camera
      - In the upper right, tap Settings.
      - Tap Quality and bandwidth.
      - The leftmost option labeled Low uses the smallest amount of bandwidth.

      Google Nest cameras and Google Nest Hello look for changes in sound and motion so they know when to send a you a mobile notification or an email.When your camera or video doorbell detects activity, it can send an alert to your phone, tablet, or email. Your camera will also add an activity marker to your camera's Sightline in the Nest app.

      If you see activity markers in the your camera's Sightline in the Nest app, but you don't receive any alerts or notifications about such activities, you may need to change notification settings in the Nest app and your phone.

      Our Nest Hello and other Nest Cams do not require any type of subscription to receive motion and sound alerts, or to view the live stream 24/7. If you'd like 24/7 video history, that would be when Nest Aware would be needed.
