The camera has an excellent image quality and the alerts or most of the time on point. It really works as advertised and best of all its weather proof.

The nest outdoor camera is great. It was easy to setup, took about 30 minutes. Adding it to the existing nest products and app have been easy. Nest just makes it simple. I enjoy the ability to set the area that should trigger an alert. Just makes the camera smarter, not just pushing alerts when a car drives by or someone walks by.

Took a bit to get the motion zones dialed in but they're great cameras that don't notify me of many false positives.

These are easy to set up and connect. They offer clear images both day and night. Did a lot of comparison shopping and decided to go with corded cameras due to battery operated cameras needing to make some concessions in order to keep battery life- specifically in terms of when they start recording.

Pro: - Easy to install. You do need to figure out a way to provide power to the unit, which might be a challenge for some users depend on the placement of the unit. But this is much reliable than the battery operated camera. Which is the main reason why I choose this model. - This Nest software is very well designed to offer timely notification of any activity detected. And this software also allow you to control other Nest product - Smoke detector, Thermostat, which the main reason I choose Nest brand, because I don't need to have so many different software for each type of devices. - The camera store all video on google cloud, which mean you do not need to have another separate hardware (hard drive or computer) to store all the video, which over time will fail, and render the security camera useless. - This unit uses your in house WiFi network to upload video to the google cloud, which is easier than hard-wire cable between cameras and a central recording device. Con: - Though the Nest software allow you to get activity notification send to you , define a area-of-interest to minimize false alarm and store all the video in Google cloud, but this would require that you subscribe to google's monthly plan, which is not a small amount if your budget is tight. If you can afford it, this is great, it could be a 5-star product. In my case, this is the main reason I rate it as 4-star.

My wife and I started down the road with NEST Products. We decided to add additional cameras after researching all the products NEST stood out as the ones for us. They are easy to install and produce a great picture. I would recommend the NEST products to anyone looking for a security system.

We wanted a camera for outside. The camera system delivered. It was easy to install and the pictures are great. We watched a car pull up and take one of our signs out of our yard last night. We have also watched a racoon walk across the driveway.

Very good camera. Easy to set up, Good picture and does the job. If mounting up high, just remember to keep a copy of the code on back of camera. You will need this if you change your wireless name or password. I changed my network name and had to climb up ladder to get the info to add camera to network again.

Added these two Nest Cam Outdoors to my system that has a Nest video doorbell and 8 Nest Protects. Love the simple setup, ease of use and great video quality. Love the pricing when you buy two, bringing the price down to $150 each instead of $200.

This is an awesome camera system and so easy to install. Put both of them up in about an hour. Great picture and though you have to pay a minimal monthly fee it’s well worth it. No locsl storage so thieves cannot steal that to cover their identity. Got a great deal for 3 cameras for $238.

If you have security concerns for your backyard or other location that is hard to "see" then this will solve that problem instantly! Picture is clear and hook up is easy (be sure there is a place to plug it it). You do have to pay $100/yr to store video and have access to other "cool" features but all in all works great.

I'm so impressed with the quality of the picture! It is very clear and easy to see everything with detail. It even works at night! The ability to record and save clips is the best part. I tried a no-name camera system that was not even close to the quality and features Google Nest has. You will not be disappointed!

I love the nest cameras, i actuallt purchaed 2 sets , the moght vision and quality are great, only thing it lags quite frequently and you have to pay a yearly fee of over $200 to see history and more than a week of history

I own the Nest Thermostat, Ring and now the security camera; and I am pleased with all of them. Easy to set up.

Like the first one so much I got another for my backyard. Can hear conversations and alerts work pretty well. Hasn't been a huge impact on my Comcast data limit of 1 terabyte. I'm on the 10 day storage plan. Love being to go back and review video when needed or to just review the previous evening while I slept.

I purchased an Arlo 2 system for the inside of the house. And was completely dissatisfied. Cameras have to constantly be rebooted due to them being disconnected from the hub. The hub freezes which makes all the cameras obsolete until I come home and reboot the hub. Verizon FiOs gave me the nest doorbell and I loved it. It’s been almost 2 years with out issue. Then it came to install cameras outside of my home I code to try out the nest. And I completely love it. It’s simplicity, smoothness, and no complications. I love it so much that I have 5 of these cameras. With the new nest aware subscription, these cameras are even better due to that I don’t need a new subscription for each camera.

I bought one of these to replace an outdoor camera from ADT. Installed no problem. It is a Cadillac compared to what I had. I was so happy with it I went and bought another one for the other outdoor ADT camera. Wish I would have bought the pair. Would have saved alittle money.

Pros: - great picture - good sound - great notification system - easy to install - magnets on camera very strong, allow easy redirection of camera to desired angles Cons - expensive - cord mangement is nonexistent - seems like someone could just unplug it...

Easy to install. Works great. Amazing clear image. Set up for alerts when it sees motion, hears sound and actually will say sees someone. Feel so much better knowing what is going on at home looking on my phone app. Best camera and notification our there

Installation and setup was super easy. The instructions were spot on to follow and the Nest app is user friendly. The audio/video quality is superb, I really like how much range these cameras cover. I also like the fact that the camera can detect people, & will notify you to tell you that it detected what it thinks is a person. So cool! I will be purchasing several more of these.
